Is the cargo hold pressurized during flight?
Cargo version of the 747 (both upper and lower areas are pressurized). The rare exception would be aircraft like the 747 LCF (Dreamlifter)

Здравствуйте, а вы знаете размеры грузового отсека? В разных восточников они разные и длина отсека указана по разному. Некоторые указывает 70 метров, некоторые 45, и так далее. Какие размеры в метрах у грузового отсека?

If the main floor is flat and clear of obstructions for cargo loading and stowage, how do you access the upper deck? No staircase as you'd have in the passenger variant.
Rather a ladder.
I'm guessing the actual main deck floor is at the nose.
Then rest having the carpeted suspended floor built over it for a display area.

And they do have a ramp for upper deck, direct entry as well.
It’s the yellow ladder you see. It folds up to allow main deck loading at the front.

there was obvious corrosion on one of the plated struts! pitting on the chrome plated area that interfaces with the main strut seal.

I couldn't identify any.
And some area's had rain drops.
And though some interior bearing surfaces are chrome lined. (very few) I don't remember ANY Chrome exterior surfaces.
I will admit I have not worked on the -8 series. But did final assembly to flightline of Hundreds of 747's.
And it rains like that Every Day in Everett lol...
What you’re seeing is condensed water droplets. It’s raining that day so humid. The struts have a thin sheen of oil on them from when they compress on landing. Any water condensing onto them forms little round droplets due the oily sheen. We see it all the time.

I do like the 747 8f, but the loading effort is ridiculous. It needs a front folding ramp and a kneel down feature. Cumbersome for loaders and loadmasters.

One of my jobs in final assembly was installing the main gear actuators. I'm almost 6'3". And I learned to Removed that Stupid little Button they always put in the Top of baseball caps lol ow.
Even the one use painter caps had those stupid buttons.
Only takes coming up short into the wing,.. And having it Driven into your head once to learn that trick ☺🤣🤕

Volumetrically, no the 747-8F can't match the An-124. But the 747-8F can carry a similar payload, twice as far. Faster. These two aircraft are very different, with very different missions. The 747 has always been a far more reliable and efficient aircraft than the An-124 - or the C-5. The airlines will always be far more demanding than the armed forces. That is why, in the case of the An-124, far more 747Fs have been sold.
Paulo: The title says the longest; The Boeing 747-8F is 250 ft and 2 inches long and the AN-225 is 275 ft ant 7 Inche long, but if you want to compare them in other characteristics, do not imagine things, research first. Similar payload? 303,700 Lbs Boeing 747-8F vs 1'125,958 lbs AN225? Twice as far? Range of 747-8F is 4,120 NM and AN225 is 8,315 NM. Faster? 747-8F Max. speed is 516 KN and AN224 is 459KN, but given the difference in cargo volume and weight capacity, the Boeing 747-8F would have to do at least 3.707 trips to take the same payload as the AN-225 does in single trip. Nice try!
