- Tensions are high as hundreds of residents are gathered outside the Vredenburg Magistrate's Court. That's where four suspects linked to Joshlin Smith's disappearance are set to appear. The Jasriel Foundation has been following the case closely. Iman Rappetti speaks to founding director Olivia Jasriel.

We can't afford to get caregivers or people to pay to look after our children some of us earn 2500 3500 a month we have rent food transport for us an the children and don't have any money to pay someone goverment must step in we can't afford it so we have no choice
But why have children when you know you cannot afford it
The sad thing is, if someone does not have enough money to properly take care of their children, maybe they should not have children. Children do not deserve to be born into poverty. It is selfish of the parents to have kids if they know they do not have enough money.

Why would or should government come in to do ALL things for us? Did for example government play any part in your conception? Let’s all of us take responsibility and strive to learn our duty or responsibility for every right that we enjoy. For every right there’s concomitant duty and responsibility.

This Jasriel woman needs an academy award for the opening act of this segment. It happens here in Australia too 16 years in child protection so speaking from on the ground. Sorry but first it’s an inexperienced worker then it’s the cops blame is so easy to dispense. The child would be in the sea by now if the ship was involved, There is still so much mystery about what muti is involved where sangoma’s are concerned.
