girl i just listened to LLL last night anD WOW IT'S SOOOOO GOOD QOTD: my script and/or score, cough drops, tons of water, small snacks sometimes, some sweater/jacket, mints, a notebook, a lip balm, and a scrunchie!
My rehearsal bag consists of pads, tampons, band aids, basically an entire first aid kit( I’m like the mom of the cast), hand sanitizer(from bath and body works), gum, a jacket because it’s always cold in the theater, some touch up makeup just incase we are getting pictures taken, a pencil case, script(s), shoes( all of them) and I’m usually doing more than 1 show at a time so I have a lot in my bag!!! Love u so much!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
In my bag for Midsummer Nights Dream I have- my Script, my copy of the no fear Shakespeare version for text help (because some of those monologues are h a r d), my water bottle (or whatever drink I may have bought for lunch), my pens and highlighters for annotating and stuff, hair ties, homework to work on back stage, sometimes I bring my DS, a jacket, etc.

I did the Best Xmas Pageant Ever a year ago and I tell you it was the most fun show I have EVER done even tho I was in the ensemble. I hope you have so much fun with it!!!

100% need that bag 💙💙 looks like it fits loads I always need: •My phone, keys, purse •My IPad for scores, •3 changes of lip colour, •2 chargers with a portable charger cause there’s always that one person who tries to steal your charger, a •Nathan, cause you need a Nathan •Black Bloch dance runners for emergency if I need to unexpectedly do some Choreography • A jacket, because I live in Ireland •Fluffy socks because duhhh •head phones cause they always come in handy when you’re not on/blocking • A pair of “dont @ me” sunglasses by DesiXQuay Australia, also because I live in Ireland 😂 And yeah that’s about it 😂😂😂 I know it’s lots but I like to feel over prepared for any circumstance

Congrats dude! Heathers was one of the possibilities for the show at my school this year, and I'm really sad it didn't get picked, though I'm happy to be doing Urinetown. I would have really wanted to play Kurt or Ram. My sister says she doesn't see it, because I'm the exact opposite of the characters, and not sporty at all, but I think that JD is too dark of a part for me, since comedy is my forté

Hey Kat, I'm playing Old Man Strong in Urinetown at my school this year, and similarly to shows that I used to do, I don't bring much. A water bottle (I share your love for them, Kat!), my script, a brush or whatever I need to get ready, and I always try to bring snacks to share with the cast!
I'am currently in a show and just got back from a full day of rehearsal and really needed to watch one of ur videos because ur videos always make me smile :) but i currently keep a blanket in my rehearsal day

The number one thing I keep in my rehearsal bag is snacks,, especially when I'm in a new company, offering people food is a sure way to make some friends! 😂
I don't do much acting nowadays, but in my singing bag I always have my big music folder, my solfege book, a book I'm reading, some homework, WATER, and maybe tea in the winter. Oh, and strepsils are a must for me! I'm glad to see you're feeling better, Katherine! I was worried for you last week.
Over the summer my bag was this enormous canvas pack which was somehow large enough to fit binders for three shows, all my makeup, and usually a meal or two
I usually bring a water bottle, a mechanical pencil, bobby pins, makeup (for dress rehearsals), hair ties, script, my phone, and sometimes my sketchbook to keep myself occupied when I’m not needed for a scene or helping out. Also, I might’ve laughed a little too hard when you said “getting in tenors’ faces”. Haha, oops. Dorky soprano is also a relatable label. 😆
I`m a singer/songwriter and study that at a performing arts college but I do find myself having a similar bag I carry. I have handsantizizer at all times, gum, a hairtie, a massive waterbottle to keep them vocalchords nice and moisturized, I like to carry headphones, a notebook and pen, and a folder for my sheetmusic.
There's a couple different variations on my theatre bag. Most of the time, it's just my backpack and script, because I do school theatre, but on set building/ tech weekend it's more interesting. If I'm acting, all I bring to weekend things are my purse (which has pretty standard purse contents) and during tech weekend I also bring lunch and my script. If I'm doing lights, I bring a large bag to both weekends that holds: my script, maybe food, a black sharpie, various pens and pencils, masking tape (the type I have is pink, which is super cool), and a miniature flashlight on a lanyard.
I'm a stage manager so I basically pack up half my house for rehearsal haha. The best things to have on hand are Listerine strips/gum, Tylenol, and an extra pair of socks (for if it's cold or for the middle of a long day of tech).
Oh btw I been really getting into loves labours lost since you did it and wow I’m really feeling it and I’m just dying to sing “Love’s A Gun” cuz wow what a freaking power move
katherine, i just made paid theatre AND my schools improv team as a first semester freshman!! its so crazy, i had to share it with you!!! qotd, im a college theatre major, so i just sorta take my backpack with me!! ive got my scripts, pencils, highlighters, waterbottles, and the entire pharmacy aisle of cvs, so i am always good to go
i’m currently doing rehearsals for Seussical Jr and i normally have my script, some extra lyric sheets for the younger kids who don’t have a full script, pencils and note tabs, tampons, ibuprofen, extra waters, and my work clothes if i have work after rehearsal.
10/10 best thing. In my rehearsal bag I keep my script, my artifact binder (I'm a light tech) my "multitool" and like. So many markers. In every color and shape and size. Also like 3 notebooks but I only ever use one. I have a water bottle but it's always empty by the time I actually need it; tissues because there's just always so much dust (and closing/opening night is always emotional) And that's it. Sometimes it changes if I need a specific piece of inspiration or if I've accidentally adopted a cast or crew member
Hi Katherine! I auditioned for the best youth theatre company in the Bay Area (where I’m from). Ari’el Stachel who just won a tony, did Theatre there when he was in high school. If was so scary, I’ve never prepared a monologue before, I’m more of singer, but it went really well and I got a callback and eventually a role! I was barely expecting to get into the ensemble but I ended up getting a supporting role with quite a few solos in group numbers and a nice amount of lines! Thank you for all of your amazing videos! I just got in the ensemble in Barnum the musical! (I got a callback for Joyce Heth but I didn't get the part but I'm happy I'm still in the show) and our first rehearsal is tomorrow and I can't wait! Apparently a circus company is going to help with the stunts and I'm a bit scared because I can't dance or do gymnastics or aerial stunts AT ALL! Help!
I just got the lead in a Christmas show, so I better get started on a rehearsal bag... in my latest show tho it always changed. Mostly just a sketchbook, my music, my iPad occasionally, and a few other essentials, such as a jacket and water.
I'm actually a backstage crew member so my bag always includes, my purse to buy food, water bottle, tea, a spare black shirt, deoderant and generally nice smelling hand sanitiser.

My college is doing Metamorphoses by Mary Zimmerman and it’s also my first show since graduating high school (I took a break from acting for awhile). In my rehearsal bag, I keep my script or binder of music for that particular concert, my water bottle, and my pencilcase which typically contains a mechanical pencil, a pen, my wallet, a comb (I just take a comb almost EVERYWHERE with me). If it's a weekend rehearsal (afternoon as opposed to a weekday evening), I'll have a sandwich and some fruit in there!
QOTD: Script Audition Journal ( I keep all my theatre stuff in one bag otherwise I’d lose it. Also, my journal is based off of the audition journal video you made!) Voice Lessons Journal ( sometimes I have voice lessons before rehearsal and just want to have everything ready to leave the lesson when it’s done and go to rehearsal) Rehearsal Journal ( I swear this is the last journal 😆. I use this journal for notes, blocking, choreography, character analyzation,etc.) Phone ( duh) Earbuds ( during break I will listen to our harmonies that I recorded) Water Bottle ( because Hydration!) Over the summer my bag was this enormous canvas pack which was somehow large enough to fit binders for three shows, all my makeup, and usually a meal or two

I usually bring a water bottle, a mechanical pencil, bobby pins, makeup (for dress rehearsals), hair ties, script, my phone, and sometimes my sketchbook to keep myself occupied when I’m not needed for a scene or helping out. Also, I might’ve laughed a little too hard when you said “getting in tenors’ faces”. Haha, oops. Dorky soprano is also a relatable label. 😆

I`m a singer/songwriter and study that at a performing arts college but I do find myself having a similar bag I carry. I have handsantizizer at all times, gum, a hairtie, a massive waterbottle to keep them vocalchords nice and moisturized, I like to carry headphones, a notebook and pen, and a folder for my sheetmusic.
There's a couple different variations on my theatre bag. Most of the time, it's just my backpack and script, because I do school theatre, but on set building/ tech weekend it's more interesting. If I'm acting, all I bring to weekend things are my purse (which has pretty standard purse contents) and during tech weekend I also bring lunch and my script. If I'm doing lights, I bring a large bag to both weekends that holds: my script, maybe food, a black sharpie, various pens and pencils, masking tape (the type I have is pink, which is super cool), and a miniature flashlight on a lanyard.
I'm a stage manager so I basically pack up half my house for rehearsal haha. The best things to have on hand are Listerine strips/gum, Tylenol, and an extra pair of socks (for if it's cold or for the middle of a long day of tech).

qotd, im a college theatre major, so i just sorta take my backpack with me!! ive got my scripts, pencils, highlighters, waterbottles, and the entire pharmacy aisle of cvs, so i am always good to go

i’m currently doing rehearsals for Seussical Jr and i normally have my script, some extra lyric sheets for the younger kids who don’t have a full script, pencils and note tabs, tampons, ibuprofen, extra waters, and my work clothes if i have work after rehearsal.
10/10 best thing. In my rehearsal bag I keep my script, my artifact binder (I'm a light tech) my "multitool" and like. So many markers. In every color and shape and size. Also like 3 notebooks but I only ever use one. I have a water bottle but it's always empty by the time I actually need it; tissues because there's just always so much dust (and closing/opening night is always emotional)
And that's it. Sometimes it changes if I need a specific piece of inspiration or if I've accidentally adopted a cast or crew member
Hi Katherine! I auditioned for the best youth theatre company in the Bay Area (where I’m from). Ari’el Stachel who just won a tony, did Theatre there when he was in high school. If was so scary, I’ve never prepared a monologue before, I’m more of singer, but it went really well and I got a callback and eventually a role! I was barely expecting to get into the ensemble but I ended up getting a supporting role with quite a few solos in group numbers and a nice amount of lines! Thank you for all of your amazing videos! I’m excited to start rehearsals using all of your tips! ❤️❤️

I just got in the ensemble in Barnum the musical! (I got a callback for Joyce Heth but I didn't get the part but I'm happy I'm still in the show) and our first rehearsal is tomorrow and I can't wait! Apparently a circus company is going to help with the stunts and I'm a bit scared because I can't dance or do gymnastics or aerial stunts AT ALL! Help!
I just got the lead in a Christmas show, so I better get started on a rehearsal bag... in my latest show tho it always changed. Mostly just a sketchbook, my music, my iPad occasionally, and a few other essentials, such as a jacket and water.
I'm actually a backstage crew member so my bag always includes, my purse to buy food, water bottle, tea, a spare black shirt, deoderant and generally nice smelling hand sanitiser.

My college is doing Metamorphoses by Mary Zimmerman and it’s also my first show since graduating high school (I took a break from acting for awhile). In my rehearsal bag, I keep my script or binder of music for that particular concert, my water bottle, and my pencilcase which typically contains a mechanical pencil, a pen, my wallet, a comb (I just take a comb almost EVERYWHERE with me). If it's a weekend rehearsal (afternoon as opposed to a weekday evening), I'll have a sandwich and some fruit in there!

I have the same water bottle in pink! I got it after you LOL. I saw your last video with it and was like I need a big water bottle too, tired of refilling all the time then I went to TJ Max and was like oh look a huge pink water bottle! Just like I wanted! And turns out it is indeed the same one 😝
