Hey Kenny, I just wanted to say thank you. I came across your videos almost 2 years ago because I couldn’t afford the medicine for my ulcerative colitis. I want to be clear about something, YOU saved my life! I was at a very very low point in my life. I couldn’t afford any medicine and I couldn’t eat any food. I was losing so much blood! God bless you and stay healthy!
Wow, that's an incredible story, Jordan! I'm so glad you're doing well and thank you very much for sharing. Definitely going to continue doing what I'm doing, very excited it was so helpful for you. God bless you as well and I will be praying for your continued good health as well.
From the IBD community, we thank you. I got started on kefir milk and many other things due to your channel. Thanks a ton man. Keep it up. Doctors want to promote medicine but you want to promote a healthy life. Thank you sir.
Having my daily smoothie while watching lol (I play around with the ingredients and mix in some lower carb days but today I'm doing: goat kefir, blueberries, avocado, banana, coconut oil, flax seed oil, collagen, psyllium husk, 1 pasture raised egg yolk, cinnamon). Eating just smoothies, meat, and fermented vegetables (along with other lifestyle additions) got me into drug free remission after 10 years of unresolved UC symptoms
I was really sick when I found your videos this past February. After trying your recommendations I started getting better. I slacked off for a while and now I'm back and ready to give it a go again. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for another great video Kenny. You are an inspiration to all people with IBD who are generally being told by doctors that their is no cure, and we need to expect to be taking meds to control it for the rest of our lives. 'But, what about when the meds aren't working and I'm going downhill, Doc?' ... I was going backwards late last year and into this year. After seeing my doc in Jan '21 and getting more bad news, I started implementing your advice. I should have got on board much earlier! I completly turned my ulcerative colitis story around in about 2 months by implementing your 4 pillar program and have reached and maintained normal inflammation levels ever since! I can now eat pretty normally (though more healthily) and still make a kefir smoothie every second morning. Maintaining good health is much easier than healing when you're really sick. But to anyone out there who is sick with IBD, there is hope! Keep up the great work, Kenny!

I was diagnosed with UC over 40 years ago. That is right. I am 75 years old and have suffered on and off with bowel issues all of these years. Medication of all kinds, diets and supplements of all kinds, macrobiotic diet, you name it. The amount of time and money I have spent on this is astronomical. For the most part, my gut controls my life. I do have a relatively mild form and only the lower bowel is involved so have never been hospitalized and I am currently on no medication. I really feel that you have got something here with the kefir, fermented vegetables, ointermittent fasting and exercise. I also sent away for the micro biome test kit. Thank you, Kenny for sharing your story. When I saw you drinking the cabbage juice, I knew you were serious about your healing journey. God Bless you. It is a life long journey. TH-cam is a super vehicle to get the word out.

Thank you so much for these videos. When I first came down with Crohn's all I could find was horrible stories about people in and out of hospitals etc. I was absolutely terrified. Are you only drinking filtered water (not Brita) and trying to eat as organic as possible? I notice a big difference with that. Those pesticides kill your gut flora. Also, I can't do the dairy...it really messes me up. You might try going on an elimination diet for a while...and only eat one small meal a day until things calm down.

Just eat a medium to large size healthy meal once a day and fast on water the rest of the day (or even a cup of broth if you need it) and you will lose weight. It is both healing and inspirational. Thank you Kenny. This is a heroic addition to gut health for those who suffer from internal distress in relation. 🙏
Perfect timing. Going through some recurring symptoms right now because I've been slipping on my diet. Your content is always helpful, keep it up thanks 🙏
You look like a different person while ill with IBD. I've done the cabbage juicing and didn't feel a lot of benefit. I did have proctitis back then though. Now gone full colitis so my have benefit. PS was symptom free for two years before it spread. My diet hasn't changed at all either. I was adding a couple of apples to the cabbage juice.
Appreciate all you do. Good message to hear. My lack of discipline resulted in another flare. I’m very motivated now to truly change my diet. I can’t wait to get better and eat more healthy pre and probiotic foods.
@@team_honnas hey have you watched the gut health guys fairly recent videos. His 1 hour 20 minute seminar I recently watched and it was hard to believe and digest about but this new German medicine thing but I think it has so much truth to it I almost forgot about it’s role in my own life. I can never escape the facts about gut health though with diet even with it. If you haven’t seen it, go check it out. I know you said you have a friendship with him and have mentioned him in your videos, time to hear the new info he is spreading that basically goes against your whole channel 😂 I understand his main point and definitely agree with it. And I completely agree with your points.
Hey Kenny, you are looking like one of the Buff Dudes in the gym montage! The beard is cool. Also that steak looked pretty awesome, great fat. Coming from a guy who (only) ate 3 of those a day for some months, I recommend putting it in your pan cold, without oil, and heating it up on a low heat so that the fat melts and that cooks it. Leave it until you've got a perfect crust and flip for a short time. That way you avoid tainting the flavour, using processed oils. Most advice for cooking steak, where they sear on a high heat, seems to be for lean cuts, which I hate! Anyway thanks for another motivating video.
I can’t wait to try this stuff out. Kenny, I became a huge fan of yours about a year ago. Love the vlog style too! Would love to see more of Kara on the videos. She was so funny in the last video😂 And happy birthday by the way!!!
Hi Allie, thanks for leaving a comment! I'm glad it only took 4 out of the 5 years we've known each other for you to become a huge fan. Kara has a huge role coming up in our very special Q&A video in the next week or two. That one will knock your socks off. Thank you for wishing me a happy birthday 6 months in advance. Wishing you the best, your brother-in-law.
Hi Kenny, Thank you for all your informative videos! I have a quick question. Do you use whole milk to make your homemade kefir? Is 2% milk okay to make kefir?
I'm a coffee lover as well, but don't drink it in the afternoon, so I stick with yerba mate. Green tea makes me nauseous from the tannins. As for the cabbage juice, I don't drink it anymore, but found juicing an apple along with it made it tolerable.
I'll have to check out yerba mate! And yes, an apple does make just about every type of juice taste better haha. I was trying to see if the tomato made it more savory. Might have to stick with the apple
I just read raw tomato can be harsh for the lining of colon and people with Ulcer colitis should avoid eating raw tomatoes 🍅 or just eat less of it .But anyway maybe is different for every individual. All the best and I enjoyed watching your video.
Thanks for leaving a comment! Did you read if it was fresh tomato juice or if it was the whole tomato that can be irritating to someone who has active inflammation within the intestines? It didn't bother me at all personally, but I don't think I'd be a good person to judge whether or not it might be bothersome for others since my gut lining has already healed. In Dr. Cheney's study he had some of his patients add tomato juice to the cabbage juice to make it more palatable and they still saw rapid improvement in ulcer healing. I can definitely see raw whole tomatoes being bothersome to someone with active inflammation (I know tomatoes bothered me when I ate them while sick), but I think a little bit of tomato juice that has been separated from the tomato fiber and seeds might not be as big of an issue?
Yes cucumber is much better tasting haha. I'm not aware of any specific therapeutic benefits for ulcers associated with cucumbers at the moment. Will have to look into it!
How are you, my friend? I am from Iraq. I suffer from chronic colon infections. I had a colon debridement and found chronic inflammation. What should I do?
Good bless you brother, what you do is really inspirational. It is help me alots but took time need patience after couple of months can see good results but …but stress and thoughts need to be addressed without them can be difficult to heal especially stress can be by thoughts alone.
Thank you for making these amazing videos!! I have several questions. ❶Is there any reason you don't include 100% organic EGGS into your diet?? I am now almost completely healed with UC after making a lot changes but I still have mucus several days a week and I don’t know if it has to do something with eating two EGGS a day.. ❷Tahini butter or any kind of nut butter is good for people with UC as well?? Thank you!
Were you able to add nuts while recovering? I am very scared to add any Nuts yet. A lot you said is some of my shared experience. I was thinking of drinking crushed powdered walnut powder and it might irritate less but very skeptical right now. Did you have any experience with nuts at all? My mom adds a bunch of chia seeds to my vegetable broth too.
I have an advice and a request: Advice: Regarding the oats, I used to eat a lot (like 200-250 gr per day when I was healthy and doing powerlifting competitions) after I got CU I realized that it's really hard for my body to digest it if I don't grind them. Therefore I started buying poridge made from oats. It is amazing. I buy the version which was made for babies (ab 5.Monat). Try it with hot water, add some cinnamon+fruits/flavor and I believe you'll love it. Request: Can you explain how to follow the cabbage juice protocol with more details? I want to start with approx. 0,5L - 1 L but I had a very bad experience with it when I drank 1 L in 15 min (I did it a few times and each time I had really hard stomach pain, couldn't eat the rest of the day). I think we all need a full guide regarding that: how to drink, can we drink in 250ml portions throughout the day which will lead to 1L in 24 hours etc. Thanks.
Thank you for the tip! I am currently working on a few videos and the cabbage juice routine will be one of them. The routine I followed for 30 days called for drinking 8 oz (or 237 mL) four times per day, so that it eventually added up between 950 mL and 1 full Liter at the end of the day. Drinking 1 full Liter in 15 mins sounds like it would not be fun and could definitely upset the stomach
Is red meat okay to eat? When I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 3 years ago the doctor told me “no red meat, no milk, no fried foods, no spicy foods” since then I haven’t eaten red meat or spicy foods but I’ve never actually tried them. Too scared too.
Hello, good to hear from you again. I'm feeling awesome! I added the tomato juice to see if I liked the taste of the cabbage juice better with the tomato
Sir , Should we do exercise in morning or evening Or empty stomach or after having food Can we take pre-workout meal And what type of meal have to take
Why not adding beets to the tomatoes .. usually i have mine with apple and lime or lemon and ginger to make it more palatable.. any thought my friend ?
@@team_honnas tomatoes new to me ..never tried it interested though to try it. I didn't know that it should be followed with coconut oil ..thanks for everything you share
Hey Kenny, Been following you for a long time and have surely learned a lot. Thanks so much. Curious... going from your most recent colonoscopy and your symptom free... why even drink cabbage juice if it's benefit is to heal ulcers... ulcers which you apparently don't even have anymore?
Thanks for the comment! And great question. I want to show my audience what the cabbage juicing process looks like and how it can be modified. As for why I am still mulling around adding it into my weekly routine (I haven’t done so as of yet) is simply as an exercise of discipline to do nutritional things that are good for my gut microbiome and intestinal health. It’s easy for me to get lazy, and I want to make sure I’m continuing to stay disciplined. The way I’m looking at it, it’s similar to continuing to exercise/lift weights even though you’re already in good shape. I want to continue getting stronger and continue to exercise. Same thing with my intestinal health. I want to continue making it a priority to constantly be improving and taking care of my intestinal health.
Once you made a video with heal your gut guy and now he is following the different path. What are your thoughts about that? and it it really due to a mental trauma or something like wrong thinking. What you think?
I personally think it's a combination of mindset and nutrition that are important. We know that our thoughts, stresses, and other emotions can influence our health, but we also know that what we eat and how we exercise influences our health. I think everyone needs to work on improving both the mental and physical aspects 👊🏻
I've used both in the past, but green is just what I've seen from Dr. Cheney's studies and what I used when I followed the regimen for 30 days. I like purple as well!
I forget how often I'm supposed to change the filters right off the top of my head. I think it's an estimate of either number of gallons filtered or it may just be a standard "every 6 months" to change the filters. I'll have to re-read the instructions
Definitely not a doctor, so don't take this as medical advice. That being said, in my personal opinion, I think if you seem to tolerate oats when you eat them without an increase in symptoms, then it should be okay. However, if you notice an increase in symptoms then I would just wait until there's less inflammation within the intestines.
Definitely not a doctor, so don't take this as medical advice. That being said, in my personal opinion I think the answer to your question is not necessarily. I think it depends on if you have SIBO or something like that. Most of these foods don't contain gluten, and unless there's a specific condition like SIBO or maybe candida that get aggravated by specific carbs, I think the general carbs in Biome Optima should be fine.
Kenny I have a question? There is a guy on TH-cam selling a program called German new medicine and he says that chrons disease can be cured by having happy thoughts and no negative thinking. What is your opinion on this program . Thanks .
If you use my affiliate link from Thryve you will get 70% off of the test and it will cost a total of $59 USD. I think it was pretty accurate and really like to see all the data so I know where I need to focus to improve the most. You may need to carefully read through the recommended food lists they send you to make sure it lines up with the overall goal of achieving eubiosis, I explained how to do this in my gut microbiome results video: th-cam.com/video/ojxLXMyK0WM/w-d-xo.html. Anyway, I like seeing the data. If you don't want to use thryve there are other companies out there as well that can test your gut microbiome. If you do decide to go with thryve, use this affiliate link to get the 70% discount: trythryve.com/Honnas.
Vitamin C is awesome, I get a pretty hefty dose of it from my smoothies, but supplementation with it can be very helpful as well and I've done that in the past here and there.
I'm definitely not a doctor, so please consult your doctor before acting on any of the information in this video or on my channel. That being said, I personally would recommend not consuming cabbage juice or other juice if you notice it causes a sharp increase in symptoms. Definitely want to err on the side of caution. I think a good place to start is to focus on improving the gut microbiome as I show in my boot camp series on my channel or in my online course Biome Optima.
Love the comment: «brings back memories». Is it the cabbage that makes your beard grows? 🤣 Looks alot fuller than last time we talked. 😉 Keep on working bud 🙏🏻

Hii Kenny .. I would like to ask which kefir is better milk or water .....( I don't have large intestine , it has been removed , so does it make a diff ) And if milk then it can be a boiled milk or only raw milk Thanks .... Love from India
I'm not a doctor, so please don't take this as medical advice. I strongly encourage you to consult your doctor before acting on any information so that you don't accidentally miss anything important. That being said, I personally prefer milk kefir, but I'm a fan of water kefir as well. I'm not sure how milk kefir or even water kefir will affect you since your large intestine has been removed. So would definitely encourage you to consult with your doctor once again. If I'm not mistaken, I think milk kefir has a higher probiotic content, but water kefir may be a little gentler on the system if the colon has been removed. I'm not entirely sure, so I think it's a very good idea to double check with your doctor. Wishing you the best!
Hey Kenny, I tried to drink grapefruit juice to calm colitis, someone recommended me and I read on the Google for its effect on colitis but I obrseeved increased mucus and blood, could that be linked to grapefruit juice? Guide. Please.
@@team_honnas can you please look into it? And tell me? From my point of view it is anti inflammatory and can kill bad bugs too but some say its acidic could be harsh on gut?
For ulcerative colitis the way you did works well. But for Crohn’s need to consider in a different way.. kefir, cabbage, smoothies everything is good but at the same time amount of food and time duration between the food really matters.. need to give rest and time for the gut to repair with mucosal lining.. if we increase the smoothies will take more time to heal.. even when you have smoothies it’s a large container… Chron’s people can’t afford it.. in your journey only this I can’t accept… it’s my experience… if I reduce the amount of food I feel better…

COLITIS: This inflamed intestinal condition is medically diagnosed far too often among people with intestinal problems. Most often, I have found that people who are diagnosed with colitis have a poor intestinal environment and ineffective intestinal fluids. Colitis is caused by cooked food byproducts and chemicals, including household cleansers that contacted food, absorbed through skin or inhaled. Early symptoms: abdominal cramps or pain, and frequent diarrhea. Progressed symptom: rectal bleeding. Eating raw fresh grapefruit juice, raw tomatoes or raw fresh tomato puree, and small amounts of no-salt-added raw cheese or cooked pasta with a raw fresh tomato sauce made with raw tomatoes and unsalted raw butter and/or stone-pressed olive oil neutralizes volatile substances in intestinal walls and improves intestinal environment. As intestinal discomfort subsides, larger meals may be eaten. Pasteurized milk and its products of any kind can cause mild to severe intestinal discomfort. Drinking raw plain kefir, when available, or soured raw milk helps restore intestinal flora. (Drinking raw milk that is not soured or predigested by kefir bacillus sometimes causes a problem with colitis.) See the book The Recipe For Living Without Disease for the recipe for making natural raw kefir from raw milk. Eating the fresh raw gel from aloe vera plants is very soothing to intestines. When volatile and ineffective fluid conditions have been corrected, colitis subsides. Then eating a smoothie made with eggs and unripe pineapple once daily helps to cleanse other toxins from intestines. If the combination of pineapple and eggs continually causes flatulence, eating them separately usually resolves the problem.

I've done the cabbage juicing and didn't feel a lot of benefit. I did have proctitis back then though. Now gone full colitis so my have benefit. PS was symptom free for two years before it spread. My diet hasn't changed at all either. I was adding a couple of apples to the cabbage juice.
Thank you for all you do!! You’ve helped me SO much with new knowledge. So so grateful we discovered your page!
Appreciate all you do. Good message to hear. My lack of discipline resulted in another flare. I’m very motivated now to truly change my diet. I can’t wait to get better and eat more healthy pre and probiotic foods.
Totally get it, it's hard to stay disciplined. Glad you're motivated and wishing you the best!
Thank you. And greetings from Bulgaria!
Glad to do it, thanks for the comment!
Try juicing an apple or a couple of carrots along with the cabbage, it’s so much better ~ it tastes more like coleslaw!
Here in india some of the foods you talked like "blue berries" isn't available. I literally wanted them
Just started watching you . I'm impressed with what I've seem so far. Why don't you start your own product line.
I’ve been doing cabbage juice but now I have done it too frequently and have an aversion to it. Still in a lot of pain
Hope to see more in these series!!
She was so funny in the last video😂
And happy birthday by the way!!!
@@team_honnas It was whole tomato it wasn’t about it’s juice. Thank you for your response 🙏
@@mehri8439 Great! You're very welcome. Wishing you the best.
Do you use protein powder to help detox? Otherwise it would be very difficult to detox?
Hey Kenny, Appreciate the videos like always. Was wondering if it would be fine to dilute the cabbage juice with water so it isnt as strong.
Thank you for these helpful videos sir Kenny.
Doing the UC community a good deed.
You are very welcome, glad to do it. Wishing you the best 👊🏻
Cucumber juice is a lot better tasting, and I wonder if it will help as well as cabbage juice.
I have ulcerative colitis and this is super helpful. God bless you.
Glad it's helpful, God bless you as well!
thank you Kenny for all the information

Good bless you brother, what you do is really inspirational. It is help me alots but took time need patience after couple of months can see good results but …but stress and thoughts need to be addressed without them can be difficult to heal especially stress can be by thoughts alone.
Thank you very much! Glad you are finding the content helpful. I definitely agree, mindset and belief are very important.
Dear Kenny. How big was that jar in the video? 1 litre?
Cabbage juice with an apple in it tastes good
Where you ever on medication if so what kind & thank you for content.
Thank you!
I appreciate all your videos. Where did you get your gut muceobiome testing done?
Were you able to add nuts while recovering?
I am very scared to add any Nuts yet. A lot you said is some of my shared experience. I was thinking of drinking crushed powdered walnut powder and it might irritate less but very skeptical right now.
Did you have any experience with nuts at all?
My mom adds a bunch of chia seeds to my vegetable broth too.
thanks for your work kenny. really helping us IBD sufferers out (if thats even a word). Of course i subscribed
Thanks for the sub! Glad to do what I can to help. 👊🏻
Do you take any pre workout? I know a lot of them have sucralose. That triggers my ibs.
Hey Kenny, have you ever substituted Green tea for Bone Broth? I sip it everyday and helps tremendously with my ulcerative colitis!
I love bone broth and drink it when I have it on hand! Glad you're seeing improvement 👊🏻
Alot of the foods in your smoothie are high in oxalates which can be irritating to your gut.
Awesome vlog! This has given me some more ingredients to add to the smoothie list.
Thank you! Wishing you the best 👊🏻
Love the videos. Always informative

Are you eat this food and smoothie regularly. ?
And is it necessary to eat these like fermanted vegitable and smoothie after heal uc?
Hi Kenny, did you also use the 80-20 rule when you were sick or only when you were healed?

I have an advice and a request:
Advice: Regarding the oats, I used to eat a lot (like 200-250 gr per day when I was healthy and doing powerlifting competitions) after I got CU I realized that it's really hard for my body to digest it if I don't grind them.
Are omega 3 fish oil supplements good for ulcerative colitis?
Hello.
How are you feeling this days. I hope you are well and healed the iBD
Why did you ad the tomato to the cabbage?
Hello, good to hear from you again. I'm feeling awesome! I added the tomato juice to see if I liked the taste of the cabbage juice better with the tomato
@@team_honnas I’m following you with cabbage juice since 2 months plus kefir still taking medicine but I feel more more better than I was.

Do you know of a microbiome test for Canadians?

Should we do exercise in morning or evening

Why not adding beets to the tomatoes .. usually i have mine with apple and lime or lemon and ginger to make it more palatable.. any thought my friend ?
You add beets to the cabbage juice or just the tomato juice?
@@team_honnas just beets or alternatively cucumbers and green apples
@@team_honnas tomatoes new to me ..never tried it interested though to try it. I didn't know that it should be followed with coconut oil ..thanks for everything you share
Hey Kenny,
Been following you for a long time and have surely learned a lot.
@@team_honnas kindly share your email address thanks
Once you made a video with heal your gut guy and now he is following the different path. What are your thoughts about that? and it it really due to a mental trauma or something like wrong thinking. What you think?
I personally think it's a combination of mindset and nutrition that are important. We know that our thoughts, stresses, and other emotions can influence our health, but we also know that what we eat and how we exercise influences our health. I think everyone needs to work on improving both the mental and physical aspects 👊🏻
Kenny how many Litres of the smoothies would you drink daily?
Of the smoothie or cabbage juice? My smoothie is usually around 32 oz or a little higher than that amount. So right around 1 Liter.
Is there a difference if you use purple or green cabbage?
What about mixing with carrot juice?
I've used both in the past, but green is just what I've seen from Dr. Cheney's studies and what I used when I followed the regimen for 30 days. I like purple as well!
How often do you replace the filters for the reverse osmosis water purifier
I forget how often I'm supposed to change the filters right off the top of my head. I think it's an estimate of either number of gallons filtered or it may just be a standard "every 6 months" to change the filters. I'll have to re-read the instructions
So would you recommend eating oatmeal while curing from ulcerative colitis
Definitely not a doctor, so don't take this as medical advice. That being said, in my personal opinion, I think if you seem to tolerate oats when you eat them without an increase in symptoms, then it should be okay. However, if you notice an increase in symptoms then I would just wait until there's less inflammation within the intestines.
Kenny, What are your thoughts on carbs? Isn't they creates problems in gut
Thanks .
how much did the gut microbiome test cost? and do you think it is accurate?
Am i the only one who likes the taste of cabbage juice?
Honas please check your vitamin C level it amazing healing properties especially decent colon need it
Vitamin C is awesome, I get a pretty hefty dose of it from my smoothies, but supplementation with it can be very helpful as well and I've done that in the past here and there.
شكرا
i actually like cabbage juice!
what was your previous water filter called?
APEC Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter
How someone deal with IBS and IBD as plants juices causes diarrhea and some people have fructose malabsorption
No you don’t have to drink cabbage juice if you want to grow your beard, just don’t ask barber to cut it and forget to shave it. It’s very simple 😂😂😂

Hii Kenny ..
I would like to ask which kefir is better milk or water .....( I don't have large intestine , it has been removed , so does it make a diff )
And if milk then it can be a boiled milk or only raw milk
Thanks ....

Guide. Please.
Not sure, I'm actually unfamiliar with grapefruit juice. I'll have to look into it!
@@team_honnas can you please look into it? And tell me? From my point of view it is anti inflammatory and can kill bad bugs too but some say its acidic could be harsh on gut?
I think if something irritates your colon, then your system is not ready for it. Try reintroducing it when u r improved a little and see.
@@zhrae9992 okay thanks
How many times a week do you eat red meat?
Between 5-14. Normally on the lower end as I only eat two meals a day generally and my first meal is almost always a smoothie.
@@team_honnas what kind of meat? Any?
I put carrot with it😊
For ulcerative colitis the way you did works well.
Thank you for sharing your experience!

COLITIS: This inflamed intestinal condition is medically diagnosed
far too often among people with intestinal problems. Most often, I have
found that people who are diagnosed with colitis have a poor intestinal
environment and ineffective intestinal fluids. Colitis is caused by
cooked food byproducts and chemicals, including household cleansers
that contacted food, absorbed through skin or inhaled.
Early symptoms: abdominal cramps or pain, and frequent diarrhea.
Progressed symptom: rectal bleeding.
Eating raw fresh grapefruit juice, raw tomatoes or raw fresh tomato
puree, and small amounts of no-salt-added raw cheese or cooked pasta
with a raw fresh tomato sauce made with raw tomatoes and unsalted raw
butter and/or stone-pressed olive oil neutralizes volatile substances in
intestinal walls and improves intestinal environment. As intestinal
discomfort subsides, larger meals may be eaten. Pasteurized milk and
its products of any kind can cause mild to severe intestinal discomfort.
Drinking raw plain kefir, when available, or soured raw milk helps
restore intestinal flora. (Drinking raw milk that is not soured or
predigested by kefir bacillus sometimes causes a problem with colitis.)
See the book The Recipe For Living Without Disease for the recipe for
making natural raw kefir from raw milk. Eating the fresh raw gel from
aloe vera plants is very soothing to intestines.
When volatile and ineffective fluid conditions have been corrected,
colitis subsides. Then eating a smoothie made with eggs and unripe
pineapple once daily helps to cleanse other toxins from intestines. If the
combination of pineapple and eggs continually causes flatulence,
eating them separately usually resolves the problem.
