We liked this song but our people (we have a lot of people) said it was balls. So it was just sitting gathering dust and then Danny McNamara heard it on Limewire and we said would he like it and he said yes he would and then it was a good song.

This song has such an innate sadness, but is so beautiful. Totally representative of Coldplay's music; full of feeling. I love it, definitely one of my favorites : )

I was there that incredible afternoon in Fano (a delightful city in central Italy) after succesully passed an exam. It was a beautiful concert, it began with The Coral and then Turin Brakes who ironicaly remarked all the people payed to see Coldplay (but Ether Song was such a beautiful album). I remember Chris Martin climbing the barriers during the concert, it was totally crazy and bizarre, the music was awesome, my God I loved so muche Parachutes and A rush of Blood albums.

after reading a few posts from some prize plonkers on this vid thought I'd clear up a few facts:
1. This was written by Chris Martin and GIVEN to Embrace because he thought it suited them better
2. This was recorded in FANO, ITALY
3. Turin Brakes and Coral supported
4. The song is called Gravity and thats not the name of the venue.

this song created a lot after 2003 i know the story of this song from really close. i can say i cant stop crying everytime i hear that song. river of tears, positive tears, flow down my face, every time i hear that song. thanks coldplay who sit on the bar in 24th street.

@@CrstB i don’t know how to tell you in short. But I can tell this couple in the song always get closer like a magnet. They pull to each other. I can’t tell you the end of the stoy, because it didn’t get to the end yet. I hope for happy and exiting end, thats how I see it now.

@@jibathus Not really, if you analyze the lyrics of the song it's melancholic and peaceful, I'm not saying that the embrace version is bad, because it isn't, but as I said, for the lyrics the slow and calm tone of coldplay is better, unlike from embrace that even feels a little empty
