Hathor is a prominent deity in ancient Egyptian mythology, often depicted as a goddess with the head of a cow or as a woman with cow horns and a sun disk. She is one of the most revered and multifaceted goddesses in the Egyptian pantheon, known for her wide range of attributes and roles. Hathor is primarily associated with love, beauty, music, dance, and joy. She is often considered the patroness of music, dance, and the arts, and she was believed to bring happiness and celebration to the lives of the ancient Egyptians. Hathor's name means "House of Horus," connecting her to the falcon-headed god Horus, and she is sometimes seen as a nurturing mother figure. However, Hathor is not solely a goddess of joy and creativity. She also had a darker aspect, as she was associated with death and the afterlife. In this aspect, she was known as the "Lady of the West" and was responsible for welcoming the deceased into the afterlife and providing them with nourishment and protection. Hathor's influence extended beyond the spiritual realm and into everyday life. She was often invoked for blessings in matters of love, childbirth, and fertility, making her an important figure in the lives of the ancient Egyptians. Her sacred animal, the cow, symbolized abundance and nurturing, further emphasizing her role in fertility and sustenance. In art and iconography, Hathor is often depicted with a sistrum (a musical instrument), an ankh (a symbol of life), and sometimes with a menat necklace (a ritual object). She remains an enduring symbol of feminine power and the interconnectedness of life, love, and the afterlife in ancient Egyptian culture.
She’s also the goddess of s3x, seductive dance trance & drunkenness, and is the original Eye of Ra, i.e., Sekhmet. She’s also one of the only female deities of the Egyptian pantheon who is a primordial entity and in many occasions was husbandless while conceiving Horus (uniter of the two lands, i.e., the falcon Horus as the Sun) as well as Ihy. She’s a fascinating character. I think Panic Music did a phenomenal job, and I don’t think s/he shied away from these energies while creating this composition.
Love is a strong emotion, it will eat all other emotions if you allow it to grow, after it devoured all other emotions if you let it flow, it will transform into inner peace, this peace will transform into wisdom soon or later, wisdom creates love, so the endless circle of love and wisdom creates unlimited energy. Emotion is energy in motion. Love for you and for me and for everyone you love.
Wow, thank you/y'all so much for this for Ninhursag/Het-Heru/Ba... I literally started crying just looking at her and feeling her vibrationz... She looks a bit different than I remember/recognize but she feels the same... And the fact that you/y'all have her out in the cosmos is just 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽... Powerful, love it, thank you...🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🖤🤎❤️ Would it be possible to do one for goddess Nisaba/ Seshat? 🙏🏽
