I'm not an Illinois fan, but I LOVED watching these teams play. I remember that Arizona game, as a 5th-grader. If not for these bs calls, then Illinois would have probably won it all that year.

Thing about 2005 is simply the Refs were going to make sure that Roy Williams won his first national title before a 20 year asst coach from Purdue's named Webber who worked his way up thru the big 10 And at SIU got his. We had the best team in all of basketball that year in Illinois. And the Refs robbed the world of what should have been the perfect national championship games 1 VS 2 and let those kids play!!.
