Just want to get few information's regarding the agencies Kamran mentioned in his conversations. He did not mention name of agencies who are providing social workers' job ! If you can mention few name of such agencies then I can drop an email .
Linkdin is definitely a website where these type of jobs are posted but we rarely get any feedback.
As I have worked in Uk as a community support worker # supervisor and acquired NVQ level 3 then had to come back in 2013 due to visa reasons as the term time was over . I was in the tier 1 visa category. Unfortunately , had to come back . Presently looking for opportunities in Uk as a community supervisor as there are job opportunities over there .
If possible can you mention few agencies and council websites where I can apply and forward my resume ?

No it's too difficult to get sponsorship in uk for any nationality, uk doesn't accredited to those grdautes that has studied outside uk

hi Kamran, did you register first with SWE and then apply for the job? Was the licence mandatory by the organisations?
It is better to register with SWE to apply for a job in UK. It will increase chances to shortlist your cv. However, organization doesn't make it compulsory to have SWE registration to apply for a job. There are examples where they give time to register with SWE after job confirmation.

@@denalinali For SWE, you need a set of documents comprises Social Work degree, course curriculum, field work verification etc. with police clearance certificate and IELTS (Academic) with 7 band overall.
There is list of documents given on SWE's website. You can go through it.

Also for transfer from scw to swe they are doing investigation again, and you need to pay 495 pound, I don't know how he manage but I discuss on the phone about this, so please please be careful where you start from your registration in Wales there is really really low chance to find a visa for SW

IELTS Academic with a minimum band score of 7, if you wish to join Social Work England.

Thanks Sarika and Kamran for the interview and the great information. Have you registered with any social work body such as NAPSWI/ISPSW in India? Have you cleared the Ecctis UK?
You don't need to register with any social work body in India to register with Social Work England. You can directly register with SWE.
There is nothing like clearing Ecctis or UK naric. It is a certificate to approve that you obtained your degree in English as a medium of instruction.
So, while seeking Ecctis, they will ask you to submit your degree and a letter from college confirming your medium of instruction was English.

i want to know from which organisation you got registerd from india then you got job directly in UK and As you have told that you had registerd from india and it was converted after paying money INR in your UK job then tell the details of how he did it please.
You don't need to register with any organisation in India. India doesn't have any regulatory body for social worker so there we practice social work without being registered to a regulatory body. However, in UK, to work as a social worker, one has to register with Social Work England which is a national level regulatory body for social work professionals.

Yes, you can get your work visa processed under the priority & super priority services for the UK.
As far as visitor visa is concerned, as of today, July 19, 2021, the UK Home Office has started receiving applications for the visitor visa but it can only be processed under Normal service which means you can get an answer about the success of your visa application within 3-4 weeks only.

Visit Social Work England website. but in practical it should take about 3-4 months if all documents are in place.
According to the Social work England, and as I have experienced myself, it took 60 days. Not 3 to 4 months

Hello Sarika, recently I experienced something as when you registered social care Wales, you need to register social work England from the begging, unfortunately as he explained before the transfer is not easy and they are asking IELTS most probably in the time he apply the transfer was easy so I think information here needs to be updated, as it may be misleading, thank you for your help

Once you are registered with Wales, You need to Select ’UK Route’ whilst filling online form for SWE, then it won’t ask for £495. However, SWE has started asking for IELTS whether you are registered with any other body or not. Earlier it was not asked.
Once the person is registered with Wales, Ireland or Scotland then you don’t need to pay assessment/scrutiny fee. You can find this in guidance for the international SWs registration , given on the website.

I tried to register in social work, Wales. But asking for NIN which cannot be provided when I am in india
NIN is asked while applying for jobs (not by all agencies). For Wales registration it ask for UK mobile number which you can provide of any family or friends residing in UK. Body name is- Social Care Wales

@@kamranmalik400 No, I personally know three friends of mine from University, who got hired with a B.Sc degree in Social work. They had no M.Sc. and 2 are working with the NHS and one with the Borough. They have been in the UK for almost 9 months now and said it has been going good. Maybe it depends on what country your undergrad is from.
