- We set sail for the Tuamotu Islands in French Polynesia, but Nikki's allergic rash is getting worse! We decide to sail directly for Tahiti, thankfully the winds cooperate and it's an amazing last day at sea.

OK, so the titles isn't exactly accurate...it wasn't all perfect seas, but I couldn't title the video:
"Big Waves, Big Rainstorms, No Wind, Flying the Spinnaker, Nikki's Face is Super Swollen from her Allergic Reaction and Jason Sorta Freaks Out Because of the Perfect Sea Conditions of Downwind Sailing with the Spinnaker"
That title doesn't exactly flow off the tongue, but that's passage making. One minute your down and the next you're flying high as a kite.
This video picks up where our last sailing video left off: Halfway through day 3 at sea with less than a day left to make landfall in the Tuamotu Islands of French Polynesia. But Mother Nature isn't really cooperating and neither is Nikki's immune system.
So grab your foul weather gear, some anti-itch cream and push that play button. Let's go sailing!

REALLY loved this video! So happy you decided Tahiti was the best option at the moment for Nikki. Nikki, you were actually getting worse. You could hear the facial swelling in your voice. Not safe out in the ocean if the swelling would have continued, albeit slowly.
I have to say Jason, you seemed very happy in this video. I’m sure it had something to do with a short 5 day sail compared to the long passage it took to get to the French Polynesian islands. You’re a pro now and a 5 day sail felt like nothing. Your happiness really came through! Loved the “who needs coffee! Pffft.” Comment! Genuinely happy to see your spirits lifted. Yes, Nikki is amazing, but so are you, and the two of you together make an amazing duo! Just really enjoyed this video!

If you visit Bora Bora or Moorea, check out Sky Dive Tahiti! We jumped with them over Bora Bora and the views were amazing. Also, in Taha’a we anchored for a night and did the coral garden drift snorkel, definitely try it if you’re near there!
