Open-water endurance swimmer Lewis Pugh (UK) became the first person to venture into meltwater beneath the ice sheet of Antarctica on 23 January 2020. Wearing nothing but swimming trunks, cap and goggles, Pugh swam approximately 1 kilometre (0.62 miles) down what is known as a “subglacial river” located near the Russian Novolazarevskaya research station in East Antarctica, in water that was as cold as 0.1 degrees Celsius (32.18 degrees Fahrenheit). The swim, which included passing through a glacial tunnel with ice stalactites and terminated in a “supraglacial river” (i.e., on top of the glacier), lasted for 10 minutes 17 seconds in all.

@@Sugefut Dont try to be a smartass and think all companies are bad for the sake of being companies. It was an automatic algorithm that detected similar videos (because all speedruns look basically the same) and copyrighted them. They have already fixed this problem and publicly apologized

Lachlan O'Donnell it seems like the GWR channel wants to right the wrongs. They said the right things both here and Karl Jobst’s channel. This is different from most other channels who does this, so I hope they mean it, and I might even be a bit optimistic that it was a legit mistake, and nothing out of malice. Still, I feel sorry for the lost revenue of the content creators...

I was here because YT recommended a video with Guinness Channel false claim copyright other channels that do speed runs, even the creator channels who did the challenge where Guinness contacted them to have their speed run legitimize so they can supposed to award them and so on.
I was here for the false claim Guinness kept on harassing the speed runners. That is why I ask for likes to have Guinness put a stop on their harassment, they are removing monetization on this speed runners videos.
