I'm tired of my hair at this point. I will not say I have done my best, but I hate knots. And my hair is fine.. and doesn't look good in some styles. God help me..
Honestly it can be frustrating finding something that works for you, I was there too. I’ll recommend you just doing braids with your natural hair first. Making your hair when it’s stretched out really helps with knots and taking them down with conditioner and water helps to reduce tangles. Also prioritize the health of your hair first so if you have split/damaged ends I’ll recommend you just cutting it off to have a good base to start with. Keeping up with your routine and treatments is very important. Patience is also very important with this because my hair didn’t look like this last year when I cut it but being consistent really helps. Try and do styles you are confident with right now but just make sure it’s not going to damage your hair. Hope this helps💗
I completely understand your frustration. I was there at one point. It took many years before I understood the MAJOR importance of providing tender love and care for your hair. I learned to be gentler and more patient with my hair and it has been THRIVING due to it. I learned less manipulation is better. Finding a natural protective style that works for you and RUN WITH IT. Keep that style and wear it until you find another style you think you’d like and works for your hair to grow and retain length. You just have to learn to be patient with your hair and not focus too much on it fitting a particular mold, that is desiring your hair to look a way it just naturally does not fall into. Please don’t give up. You can have the healthy long hair you desire. You just have to be patient with your hair and be kind and gentle toward it. Your scalp and hair is like a garden. Also make sure you’re healthy from the inside out as well. Be sure you’re taking in the proper amount of vitamins and minerals and drinking plenty of water.
@@toritsejuamotsuka thanks for the response. I feel braids are not fine strands friendly. My personal opinion, they cause knots for me during take down and it's too scalpy for me. Length retention is not an issue for me, but I keep cutting due to Single strand knots. I'll still give at least 2 more years to understand my hair better. Thanks again
