How do you make a sound about a depressed guy wanting to be thrown into the ocean instead of a proper burial sound happy and awesome? Parsonsfield, just Parsonsfield
Parsonsfield, I just caught your performances at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival at Jericho Beach and OMG you guys were a very pleasant surprise and I hope I get to hear/see you for years to come! Outstanding. PS: I was one of the two seniors in the hot sun at stage 1 for your concert on Sunday July 19 2015 (I believed you referred to us as 2 bad-asses because the rest of the audience took shelter under tents)! I am definitely a new FAN! Loved what you gave to Vancouver! The whole band rocked!
Glad I got to see you guys perform this and other songs when you headlined at Sweet Water Farms in Clinton on Sunday 9-20-15. You've come a long way since I saw you (as Poor Old Shine) at the little cafe in Old Lyme where you performed with Jonah Tolchin on a Friday night. That was close to 5 years ago. I still have and love the CD from Infinity Hall in the handmade paper case. Keep up the great work.
this EP is so awesome, they teased us with a little of "Anita Your Lovin'" old radio styley on the Poor Old Shine album, and the whole song is on this one. Made me so happy :) . Don't ever stop Parsonsfield. Also come to the UK (the south), I would LOVE to see you here
I saw you guys at a free show out here in NJ a few years ago and have been hooked ever since. Be real nice if you guys swung around these parts again. Maybe put on a show with Cabinet, that would be fucking awesome!
Well, he was The Original and such a lovely and understated performer. MJH Live Piedmont Sessions were the first blues records I ever bought. Got lucky and spoiled, right out of the box! 😌❤️
This band deserves alot more exposure. The Walking Dead helped a bit but they need more endorsements.
