Peter and Lloyd are the guys who write the ERB bars. They also produce all of the beats (bare one or two). These boys are fantastic. They put so much work into these battles.
They were right there on screen, too. Lloyd portrayed Elvis and Peter portrayed "vanilla added" Michael. There is a third writer, Zach Sherwin. He's on screen in ERB's frequently also, though not as much as the first two. Zach has been Sherlock Holmes (vs Batman), Alexander the Great (vs Ivan the Terrible), and Voltaire (Philosopher's battle). Notable guest stars, like Weird Al and Snoop Dogg, also contribute to the battles they appear in.

great how these all leave you speechless for a moment after, there is No limits when it comes to ERB. Fun rewatching these. There are sooo many. Adam vs Eve is a short but funny one.
To answer your question about who they are: Michael Jackson (older) played by series creator Nice Peter. Elvis Presley is played by fellow series creator Epic Lloyd (who has his own rap series called Dis Raps For Hire).
@Jamel_AKA_Jamal You're good with the ERB. Peter and Lloyd don't do copyright claims on reactions. If you're enjoying them, I would say just go through them all. I would love to see your reactions to the whole library and with how much they have, you'll have content for quite some time. My favorite, though, is JRR Tolkien vs George RR Martin.
They're all excellent, to be honest. Pick one at random, it'll be great. Hitler vs Darth Vader is one of my personal faves, as is Ronald McDonald vs Burger King
Whenever you get back around to doing Epic Rap Battles, I highly suggest you check out Bill Gates vs Steve Jobs, or even the Hitler/Vader trilogy. I am happy you've found these. Great reaction buddy.
The people named Elvis ''The king of rock and roll'', Michael Jackson and his record company named Michael ''The king of pop''. PERIOD. No offence to Michael.
No THE PEOPLE CALLED MICHAEL the King of POP. The Media tried since the 80's to deny him the TITLE. The Companys and the Media are desperate to look for another King of POP - but they failed. The TITLE sticks, if you like it or not. WHY DO YOU have to insult Michael Jackson to make Elvis bigger? If YOU are so confident in his greatnes, why did it bother you? WE are not interested in Elvis title.
I would only add that imo the king of rock and roll is really a toss up between Chuck Berry and Elvis. As a guitarist I want to say Chuck is easily the king of rock and roll, if for no other reason than he could play that guitar like ringin' a bell. ^-^
@@unknown-pt9fk The moniker King of Pop was first given to Michael Jackson in 1989 during the Soul Train Awards. He was named "Artist of the Decade" and during her presentation of the award long time friend Elizabeth Taylor declared him to be "The King of Pop, Rock & Soul." That's the first time Michael Jackson was ever referred to as the King of Pop, by a friend at an awards show. Elvis Presley was originally referred to as a "country" or "hillbilly" artist until his music took on a more rock & roll sound. The first time Elvis was officially referred to as "The King of Rock & Roll" was by a Memphis based journalist named Robert Johnson in 1956. Johnson had criteria for his claim however, citing various things such as the fact that Elvis drew the largest & most enthusiastic crowds, the amount of money he was making at the time, and the fact that he sold more records than any of his contemporaries & rivals. Not to mention his Movie contracts. Michael is Definitely the King of Pop, no one can take that from him. But Elvis had #1 hits across 6 different charts ranging from Pop, to Rock & roll, to Country & bluegrass. The irony though, Jackson & Presley were a lot alike. Both were eccentric, shy in public settings & interviews, had their own Estates(Elvis with Graceland & Michael with Neverland).
If Elvis is the King of Rock what does that make Chuck Berry? Elvis just did music that was already happening in the black community and made it ok for white kids to listen to he isn’t and wasn’t the King of Shit.
Brother Jamal, I think Ray Stevens 'Ballad of the Blue Cyclone' and 'Haircut Song', would be great to see you react too! God bless. And thank you for the fun times and reactions!
Oh, I am so glad you're doing these. I can't believe how wild they get. Please check out the Richard Pryor vs George Carlin; it's incredible and has a surprise ending.
I think you cannot go wrong with ERB, I would say react to the ones you have knowledge of the content or interest in. Thank you again for sharing yourself with us and your time. You matter in this world.
Epic Lloyd and Nice Peter are the guys behind ERB. They have occasional guest rappers on the battles, but they do the majority. They have had some surprise appearances by a few celebs. If you watch the credits at the end it tells you who was playing who.
A great one is Theodore Roosevelt (EpicLoyd) vs Winston Churchhill (Dan Bull), Bill Nye (Nice Peter) vs Issac Newton (Weird Al), Hannibal Lecter (EpicLoyd) vs Jack The Ripper (Dan Bull). They do have some great guest from time to time, like Snoop Dogg and Key&Peele. Also the 3 with Watsky are fantastic.
OMG, I knew it, but I totally forgot about it, til like halfway in when they mentioned Lisa Marie. This is father-in-law vs. son-in-law, which adds another layer to the whole battle 🤣🤣
"Nice Peter" was older Michael, and "EpicLLOYD" was Elvis. This was released in 2012 and was from their second season. Peter and Lloyd write most if not all of the material themselves, but they also frequently have guests appear in the videos, such as Snoop Dog as Moses, Jenna Marbles as Eve, Weird Al Yankovic as Sir Isaac Newton, and T-Pain as Stevie Wonder. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_Rap_Battles_of_History, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Epic_Rap_Battles_of_History_episodes
Don’t worry about copyright blocking here man, these guys LOVE when folks do reactions to their content. I’ve seen Peter and Lloyd react to several folks thanking them for reacting. They are amazing talent that have Ben doing these for a decade now (and almost all of them are amazing).
Epic Lloyd played Elvis and Nice Peter played grown up Michael. They write the bars with a little help from their Patrons and Zach Sherwin. (And occasionally other guest writers too.) A few I would suggest is Bill Nye vs. Sir Isaac Newton, McDonald's vs. The Burger King, and Tony Hawk vs. Wayne Gretzky for starters.
Elvis was played by Epic Lloyd. Lloyd had a cool series of videos called Diss Raps for Hire. People would write to him about the bullies in there lives and Lloyd would person a diss rap against them.
Nothing is bigger than Elvis. Elvis Presley cannot be compared to anyone else. Elvis is bigger than anything else. There will never be anything bigger than Elvis Presley.
This was hilarious. I’ve never seen anything like it. I was taking a break from true crime, and wow, I could not stop laughing. I really needed this. I have to play this again and send it to my family, well, some of them. 🤣
The best line from Elvis was, "I stole from black culture, why are YOU offended?" But the truth is that Elvis paid homage to black culture. He clearly respected the old school rhythm & blues, and jazz musicians that he emulated. And he used his fame to help shine a bigger spotlight on black musicians. As an aside, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson were my two favorite singers when I was about 12 years old. I even had Elvis and Jacko 12-inch action figures. 😆
and there are soooo many others to watch from ERB! Jack the Ripper v. Hannibal Lecture; Harry Potter v. Luke Skywalker, Zeus v. Thor, Bruce Lee v. Clint Eastwood...
You are such a great student of music that I feel any musician ones are going to be great. I believe that this one is one of their best because it is so tight. Watch it a bunch of times and you may find your mind switching winners with each viewing. ERB are brilliant. Nice Peter (playing adult MJ) and Epic Lloyd (playing Elvis) are both excellent rappers but their real strength is the writing. They make sure they know their subjects well enough to make deep cuts and killer bars all over the place. It even got better as they grew over the years. I think MJ v Elvis was second year where the other one you've done (Joker v Pennywise) is sixth. It's a longer video but it also denser with line after line hitting. It is tough to recommend vids because their quality changes based on your knowledge. Here are some of my favorites. If you recognize the names then they are worth checking out. Rasputin Vs Stalin Gandhi Vs Martin Luther King Jr Sir Isaac Newton Vs Bill Nye Zeus Vs Thor Jim Henson Vs Stan Lee (done while Stan was still alive. I hope he got a kick out of it) The Philosophers (Socates, Nietzsche, & Voltaire vs Sun Tzu, Lao Tzu, and Confucius) George RR Martin vs JRR Tolkien. Thomas Jefferson Vs Fredrick Douglas Thanos Vs J Robert Oppenheimer and if you want a music focused one the next best is Mozart Vs Skrillex.
I recommend Pablo Picasso Vs. Bob Ross, but I have a personal bias for that one because I'm in it. At the end when they say "You Decide", that's my Facebook profile and the picture I made to recommend that battle on their page.
That's why I love Epic Rap Battles; they have not a single **** to give. They say what they want and don't care what anyone else thinks. And theres some real painful truth in this one, for sure...
Honestly you just need to do them all. Start with the most recent and then go back. Some are better than others, but ERB is something you should catch up on bc when new ones drop it's AMAZING!
I'D say start at the beginning and work your way forward; sometimes newer battles call back to older ones, you'll miss references if done in the wrong order. You'll also see how ERB's style develops. One way to tell a battle was an early one (like this one), is by how short it is.
You don't have to worry about getting blocked. ERB is cool with reactors. I've often seen EpicLloyd, one of the creators, commenting on reactors' video with compliments. They're pretty chill guys.

This one is a must!
The God of Lightning vs the God of Thunder?
Wow I haven't seen those epic rap battles for years!! Thank you for getting me back in that rabbit hole!
If it’s been years then you are in for some treats as there are new ones.
Now I'm wondering how Thanksgiving dinners would have gone had Elvis lived long enough since he was Michael's Father-in-law...???
You turned me onto these today...I WENT BINGY...The combinations are so amazing and there's kernels of knowledge in every one...Miley Cyrus vs Joan of Arc was hilarious...the Oppenheimer one was staggering, so amazing; Hitler Vs Darth Vader was sublime...It helps to be well read and well versed in history and then they become hilarious...What an amazing original idea...I can't believe they've been doing these for ten years on here...Not until I saw you reacting to them did I check them out...Thanks for your hard work!
Damn this video is almost 10 years old and I'm JUST NOW SEEING THIS? HILARIOUS! Thanks for sharing this one!
Wow I just got through requesting this on your newest reaction, and here it is a day-old, you already have it. That's great!
@ 6:07... Jamel, that look on your face was like you were saying “YO!!! Someone call 9-1-1 as I’m about to pass out from the SHOCK!!!” 😂😂😂
I'm so hoping you fall down this rabbit hole and bring us all with you!
My good sir, this is OLD! Nice Peter and Epic Lloyd have some amazing work that has been out since forever! You HAVE to check out their great stuff, like Bruce Lee vs Clint Eastwood, Cleopatra vs Marilyn Monroe, Bonnie and Clyde vs Romeo and Juliet, Thanos vs Oppenheimer, Joker vs Pennywise just to name a few
There are so many epic rap battles of History. They've been around for years. You have just jumped in a huge rabbit hole. One of my favorites I don't know why is Burger King versus Ronald McDonald. That was one of my first ones I ever saw and it was hilarious. Welcome to the epic rap battles of History. It'd be really smart to watch the background in the history of how they do these. It is amazing. The more you get into it the more you see there will be some celebrities on they're doing some stuff it is awesome. And no holes barred that's for sure just like the real rap battles
The two guys that are responsible for these rap battles are known as Epic Loyd and Nice Peter. If you really want to find out what's going on, then check out the behind the scenes videos.
Oh yeah, I forgot about those, their making-of clips are just as good, and many of them are on ERB's page.
I'm so glad you're in my feed, I love your reactions man! Keep these up
They have each performer's style down, and they are referencing lyrics, brilliant!
I really like the music and movement you use in the intro. It reminds me of the old Rocky and Bullwinkle show
Awsome....i didnt know of these epic rap battles of history until seeing this video. Keep being a great human. Keep reacting.
down the ERB rabbit hole we go !!!!!!!
great how these all leave you speechless for a moment after, there is No limits when it comes to ERB. Fun rewatching these. There are sooo many. Adam vs Eve is a short but funny one.
Awwwwwwww man, I wondered when this day would come. Welcome to the rabbit hole of ERB.
This one was one of the most savage ERB's they've made
To answer your question about who they are: Michael Jackson (older) played by series creator Nice Peter. Elvis Presley is played by fellow series creator Epic Lloyd (who has his own rap series called Dis Raps For Hire).
Sometimes ERB is like a masterclass in verbal savagery.
The same two that I was thinking of since everyone knows their history.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR ERB CONTENT!!
SAVAGE Stuff !! Elvis Won 🏆 😎 ⚡TCB
Finally! You’re gonna love these and we’re gonna love seeing you discover the genius

The moniker King of Pop was first given to Michael Jackson in 1989 during the Soul Train Awards.
Elvis just did music that was already happening in the black community and made it ok for white kids to listen to he isn’t and wasn’t the King of Shit.
so glad you found these guys
Brother Jamal, I think Ray Stevens 'Ballad of the Blue Cyclone' and 'Haircut Song', would be great to see you react too! God bless. And thank you for the fun times and reactions!
I love your reactions to these! Please keep it up!!
Oh, I am so glad you're doing these. I can't believe how wild they get. Please check out the Richard Pryor vs George Carlin; it's incredible and has a surprise ending.
I have never seen any of these..that was crazy..can’t wait to see another.
I think you cannot go wrong with ERB, I would say react to the ones you have knowledge of the content or interest in. Thank you again for sharing yourself with us and your time. You matter in this world.
This is one that's honestly too tough for me. Between not only the burns but also the rebuttals, this is one of the few that deserve a rematch.
Thank you I needed a good laugh today because watching your reaction was priceless. 🤣🤣
Just came across your channel via this vid. Subscribed! Love the sick setup in the room!
Just came from 'Joker vs Pennywise' and I wanted to add a suggestion for ERB Thor vs Zeus since I didn't see it there either. That one is *savage.*
@Minska Catral is 100% on point. Peter and Lloyd will not block your reactions. They LOVE reaction videos.
Welcome to the ERB family, man. ERB ALWAYS goes there =D
ERB: Frank Sinatra vs Freddie Mercury
Freddie then Dean Martin.....
This is too funny! Love your reaction, as always 😁
Oh, I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy whatever ERB's you pick, LOL! So sharp and tight and fun. Vicious sometime yes, but always on point. ;o)
Indeed
Epic Lloyd played Elvis and Nice Peter played grown up Michael. They write the bars with a little help from their Patrons and Zach Sherwin. (And occasionally other guest writers too.) A few I would suggest is Bill Nye vs. Sir Isaac Newton, McDonald's vs. The Burger King, and Tony Hawk vs. Wayne Gretzky for starters.
The last episode of Season 1 has Epic Lloyd vs Nice Peter and its AMAZING! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣
Yo!! WOW. Super impressive.. I'm going for MORE.
Do all of them my good sir. And you shouldn't have to worry about them getting blocked. They are very supportive of people reacting to their videos.
It would be Awesome if you reacted to more of these!
It's ALWAYS Elvis vs. whoever----which proves ELVIS is the BEST!!!! They try to make anyone else just as good but you can't!!!
Please keep doing these! ERB is amazing!
This is one is so easy, the King, Elvis.
This is one of ERB's best
Spielberg vs Hitchcock is one of my all-time favorites.
This was hilarious. I’ve never seen anything like it. I was taking a break from true crime, and wow, I could not stop laughing. I really needed this. I have to play this again and send it to my family, well, some of them. 🤣
Oooh! You should watch the Frederick Douglass v. Thomas Jefferson one! It's gooood. Thanks for the reaction! - Chelsea
The best line from Elvis was, "I stole from black culture, why are YOU offended?"
But the truth is that Elvis paid homage to black culture.
It might be fun to put a poll up with these reactions to see who your viewers think won.
Had to watch you reaction to this again
Rasputin Vs Stalin
Gandhi Vs Martin Luther King Jr
Sir Isaac Newton Vs Bill Nye
Zeus Vs Thor
Jim Henson Vs Stan Lee (done while Stan was still alive. I hope he got a kick out of it)
The Philosophers (Socates, Nietzsche, & Voltaire vs Sun Tzu, Lao Tzu, and Confucius)
George RR Martin vs JRR Tolkien.
Thomas Jefferson Vs Fredrick Douglas
Thanos Vs J Robert Oppenheimer
and if you want a music focused one the next best is Mozart Vs Skrillex.
Close battle, but a lot of untruths regarding Elvis!
PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE
I know you probably don’t know a lot about these two but I would love to see you react to Shaka Zulu vs Julius Caesar
BRO ERB is LIT, you should check more of their vids.
You know when Brother Jamal walks off, it got real!!! 😂
I recommend Jim Henson vs. Stan Lee! It's even got a surprise ending!
