The vocals, performance, and arrangements are all excellent. The soloing in the middle of the song is really cool. Even if I, as a Japanese, listen to it, I am fascinated by it. awesome!

I'm loathe to compare two different interpretations considering all the work that went into each, but this feels much closer to spirit of the original track. Katamari Damacy doesn't really lend itself to big band besides Katamari on the Rocks.

The hook of this song is so pretty. The title theme will always be my favourite because of how absurd it is, but this is definitely the next best.
