The collapsible buckets are great! Doubles as a dog bowl when semi-collapsed. Use it when dry camping to catch water when waiting for the water to heat up for showers. Use the water for dishes or dousing a fire. Stores easily by the side of the toilet.
I bought that Gooloo jumper a few years ago, based on Project Farm review. I have jumped, friends, relatives, and random strangers. Never had to jump myself. I think that is because of good karma from helping everyone else 😁
You can buy support poles for the moon shade, or even a full shade and poles setup from REI (and I'm sure elsewhere). I have a Kelty shade that I can attach to the RV, trees, truck, etc., so you do have other options that might be cheaper, and more versatile. Big Agnes is another brand, and both start around $80.
I have a 3d printer which i have made many items in my RV, to Hooks, latches, Cover for plugs ECT. They are fun and a great thing to use. Many website sites that have thing already drawn up to print for RV use.
Booster packs are great addition to any camper. Before I had mine I did boost the truck off camper once. Luckily I was parked crossways of front of camper and my cables reached. After that got booster pack and have used it to run leveling system, 5th wheel front legs, slides, awnings and charging phones
The Moon awning would be great in a much smaller size to shade my refrigerator when my site is not conducive to shading the fridge during those hot sunny days. It always works much harder when it can’t keep up cooling itself. If it came in a 3’x5’ or 4’x5’ I’d buy one in a heartbeat. Maybe Moon awning could send me a free one for the idea! 😉
Not a bad idea. 7’ was the narrowest to mount to the RV. I will say the wider helped keep it in the shade as the sun moved across the sky until late afternoon. I do see the advantage of having a smaller one too though
I'm an RV transporter and I 100% agree with having a good jump box. Of course it has to be able to start my diesel truck but so many times these lead acid batteries that we have to carry around to put on these RVs to transport them have all sorts of issues Period Having a jump box to be able to Operate The landing gear on a fifth wheel when it's two degrees outside and your battery is dead Is an awesome thing. And it is often 2° or so in Northern Indiana when you pick up a new unit to deliver
Our son started a grease fire in our kitchen once. We had the extinguisher handy but I was too intimidated to use it. I grabbed baking soda and put it out. Thankfully it did the job and was less messy. After that I found on Amazon the fire blankets. I bought several including one for camping. It is so much easier to use. However, I still will have the multipurpose baking soda on hand.
I made a noodle board for my camper and have made about 20 for others. Those of us who don’t want to cook on gas fires in our campers now get more counter space.
I will say as a professional design engineer who's company specializes in prototyping, cnc and 3d printing, I couldn't live without access to 3d printing now. I have access to industry leading stuff, but to be honest the affordable consumer printers, like the bambu labs printers are getting really really good for the money. The biggest learning curve for most people is just the CAD modeling if they want to do it themselves, but fusion 360 is a great program option but so is shapr3d. Personally I use solidworks but that's expensive and outside most peoples justifiable reach.
3D printer for the win. I’ve made custom bins, tpu caps for water ports, and dash mounts for my Tire Minder and Redarc brake controller knob. Great video!!
The fire blanket is in essence a welding blanket. I carry a couple all the times. They fold up into very small size. I use not only for fire emergencies but as a heat shield under the smoker.
An issue I see with that fire blanket is the 1076 deg. limit. Gasoline burns at about 2000 deg. So it's not much good for fuel fires. Just be aware. That said the Jcase seems awesome. Keep the good stuff coming.
I’d love to see how you store all the gadgets and essentials while you travel. My basement and front bay are pretty full. We have a comparable floor plan in a 290BH by Grand Design and am always curious how others travel with their gear.
Those moon shades seem neat. If they made a slightly smaller one I'd be tempted to get one to have an awning off my slide. On my model the slide is underneath the regular awning so you don't get much usable space underneath. I've said before I wished I had a smaller awning off the slide out itself. But my slide is only about 6' so a bit too small for even the Moon Shade. But being able to just attach it to the side with suction cups is brilliant.
I've got 3 fire extinguishers (one at each door and one within reach of, but not over, the range) plus a fire blanket. While RVs aren't quite as bad as boats when it comes to fires, it's still the one thing that most worries me about the hobby. My fire blanket is wool so it doubles as an emergency blanket for cold or wet conditions.
Where do you store the 3D printer when not in use? I don't bring mine with me because they do tend to take up so much space. I did recently purchase a resin printer and it pretty much lives underneath our table back I'm not sure my wife would be crazy about me also bringing on an fdm printer😂
Really great RV accessories & thank you for sharing. I rewound the video a few times but my old ears can't catch the name of the website with 3D printable RV items. One of my sons has a 3D printer & I'm hoping he can make one of those fresh water hose adapters for me. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge & experiences, I really do appreciate your videos.
A human has to be much closer to the fire for the fire blanket to be safely used. A dry powder extinguisher allows the operator to stay a safer distance from the flames.
First aid kit is great. BTW I fill my prescriptions at Walmart. No matter where I am I can find a Walmart and they will refill my Rx even to contacting my Dr. for new prescription.
That does make it very handy. I think their service shines where you can be ready for emergencies. 2020 is too fresh in my memory where you couldn't get supplies because they weren't there because of supply chain and doctors were being silenced and stopped from being able to get the meds they wanted for their patients.
It is in the description of this video th-cam.com/video/EsUPsj92rJU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FLvV_uN39gFV2JH-. That file was a $10 purchase and had a few different ACs it worked for.

Is there a link to that 3d printer site for file sharing?
@@RVingwithG I think thats a great idea. I'll do that!

I was intrigued by the moon shade. Then discovered it starts at $395! I’m not that intrigued.
I skipped right to XL and fell out. I was like that big umbrella better come with lifetime warranty and some good wind resistance
💯💯🤣💯💯
Especially when you can buy a simple tarp from Home Depot for about $25
Harbor Freight tarp $15
@@mikeoneil5770 What do you use for poles with the tarp?

Would love to get one of those fresh water tank adapters
Buzz kill, that suction cup for the awning delaminated my side wall. Defect round circle same size as cup.

Wow glad to hear they help in such extreme conditions. THat sounds brutal.
Great stuff! A bucket is mandatory! That collapsible one looks great!
I’m never disappointed in your videos, short quick info based on your experience and uses. The moon shade very interesting keep them coming
I think that awning may be exactly what I've been wanting for my box truck conversion! Thank you!

LOL "...that's where it really shines" about the Swedish dishcloth, while you were shining the sink in the video

That moon shade is really cool. We can't put awning on our big slide because of the size of the windows. I'm going to look into one of those. Thanks.
How about a main breaker for your RV. My TT takes an odd 30/20 amp duel breaker that is used in the main breaker position. A little hard to find.
Thanks again
Didn’t realize 3d printers were so cheap these days. May have to start looking
