- I was lucky enough to stay at the Instagram famous giraffe hotel - Giraffe Manor, in Nairobi Kenya.
We have all seen the pictures of the giraffes poking their heads in the window, while you are eating your breakfast. But does this hotel live up to expectations or is it just a cool photo for social media? What can you really expect from The Giraffe Hotel?

Fabulous video I stayed there Dec 24,2019 best Christmas Eve ever - I went by myself and stayed on 2nd floor Karen Blitzen suite ($1500) worth every penny and I only booked it 6 weeks in advance. I had Eddy in the morning and Betty at breakfast. They had a huge gingerbread house made just like Giraffe Manor in foyer . Also I thought the food was fabulous… then I went on to staying in Kenya & Tanzania for 3 weeks so exciting. And another highlight was fly QATAR AIRLINES 😀 23 hrs each way from Sarasota Florida- everyone should put Giraffe Manor on their bucket list I relive that trip every day 😀

Wonderful information, you do such a great job! We stayed here for two days before our safari at Lewa and then the Masai Mara, in September of last year. Giraffe Manor is absolutely one of our best travel experiences, and the employee that was with you at the swing and in a few of your shots, she was the same employee that was with us a lot of the time there, she was so nice, we really liked her. And your other vlog showed the elephant orphanage which is really wonderful as well. So nice to see what great care they take of all the elephants. Such great people in Kenya, oh and the food was fantastic. Anyway, keep up the great work!

I'm not a fan of Instagrammers at all, but if the 'perfection snaps' help with conservation efforts for the giraffes, then that's ok. Giraffe Manor in the early 90's was all about the giraffes and their future. If Instagrammers are now paying towards this cause (actually being useful for once) by being able to stay there, that's a positive twist.

As a Kenyan, I literally laugh watching this since some tourists are either ignorant of being ripped off or just dumb 🤦🏾🙆🏾 , I mean don't you really know just how much more & better things you can do & see for so much less in Kenya ?!. Plus this vlog sounds more of a paid or persons of interest than truce to Giraffe Manor 🤔
