I've been animating for years now, but in completely different programs than Adobe. And when I finally decided to try this one, I felt like Im a complete beginner again, it was so frustrating, and NONE of the tutorials made sense to me, until this one. Honestly I have never seen more confusing program than adobe animate, but this channel finally helped me understand the basics. Thank you SO MUCH

Thank you! No lie I have a bachelor's in animation from 2008 and scenes were never taught. This would have been so helpful to know forever ago.

hey, THANKS! VERY clear, concise, and helpful!
*Question:* Could this have been done in the "old" *Flash* using MovieClips? All strung together with a GoTo command at the end of each clip to start playing the _next_ clip? But this way is super convenient! I'm an older artist, looking to get back into this animation gig for a motion comic, and since I know the Flash workflow from waaay back, I'm trying to figure out how to best approach things. Thanks again!

Sorry I'm looking for this 2 years later. This would've been nice but I don't
see "all scenes" in the export scene drop down in the 2024 version of Adobe Animate. Anyone know if there is another process for this? Thanks.

If I have a symbol in scene1, it has it's own timeline, then duplicate scene1 to scene2.
If I edit symbol timeline in scene2, it will affect scene 1. What do I do?

So exporting had me stumped...I kept 'exporting movie' and getting all the scenes together...so when you say 'export video media' at th-cam.com/video/MS72cTQRaBA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fqIebV_3GbAsQY7j&t=551 it was a revelation...BUT then it didn't work! Because my media encoder wasn't open...now it works! thanks...I had been frustrated wanting to work with scenes, but also wanting to only one at a time
