    Great job and looks good!!! It brings back memories from when we did our Skoolie. I did the same thing, thumb turn for the 2 back doors deadbolt and key lock for the front door. Keep up the great work!!!!

    Wooot! Your door looks sick! Way to go guys! We installed a lock like that on our front doors as a temp until we do whatever we will do with those doors. We like the lock, but had run into the same issues and needed to toss in a spacer. Works great now. High five! - B+E

    Nice job guys. I’m making super progress with (old school). I’ve ripped up my floor welded new plates in and fibreglass the seat holes. Studded and insulated the floor. Put down the plywood. Framed and insulated the walls . Just put in the kitchen and ran plumbing lines. Only had my bus about a month now. Lot of work but so enjoyable. This week it’s going to be the under mount boxes. I got a free motor home so lots of up cycling going on. Hope to see you out there one day.

      We like it a lot but you are right, there is still some wiggle. We noticed that the wiggle is dependent on the right door (the door that closes first) we are still trying to decide what to do about this. 😕 We might put a slide bolt on the inside but not sure about the outside yet.

    Looks like a good job again, congratulations! Only one little question about the way you done it: At videominute 16:15 u show the backpart of the lock . One can see that it´s only attached with two screws, the one side hangs over into thin air. Why didnt you put a baseplate onto the frame of the door, big enough to stand out over the edge , to support the lock? This way you would be able to screw it on with 4 screws, and the baseplate would ad strenght to the frame.
    But besides that: Good job as a terrific team, i really luv u guys
    LG from Germany, Georg and Mark

    • @GustheStruggleBus
      @GustheStruggleBus  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great catch. You are right. Unfortunately it is only held by 2 screws but we had to do it that way because if we added anything to the back of it, it would impede with the other door and not let it close properly :/

    • @MarkHey
      @MarkHey 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am sure you thought about it. I thought it might be easy to put a plate under it, and a thicker spacer under the other part so everything is leveled. But if it works like this, everything is fine! Have fun going on! Greets from Germany , Georg and Mark
