Hobbit is excelent movie,think...members of Wind Rose must be big fan's of this movie..like band have special,,taste,,...vocal here is very uniqe..this song can compare with Rhapsody of Fire album Symphony of Enchanted Land II The Dark Secret...whole album is,,movie soundtrack,,
Could you imagine gathering a chorus of Tolkien nerds and a band backed with cellos and violins preforming this ? Probably blow the roof off at "Where the home of the Dwarves is rising !"
Honestly, this deserves a music video. It’s easily the best song of the album. I like to think they’re just waiting on permission to use footage from the hobbit
@@GobbyMetal kind of the whole thing. The rhythm of the lyrics and the instruments sounds strangely similar. The first time I heard Wind Rose it nagged at me and I hadn't heard Sabaton in over a year but it finally clicked.
Thank you! I was about to start listening to all the Sabaton albums because i couldn't remember which song it was from. It definitely made me stop and think "I've heard this before".
The song states that the Battle of the Five Armies is for the sake of getting back the gold, but wasn't that the reason why Erebor was lost? Why is the gold so important?
Smaug was attracted to the Gold so he destroyed much of Erebor. But the gold belongs to the dwarves rightfully. Maybe Smaug Was the punishment for the dwarves greed to always dig deeper. Just my thoughts :)
According to the movie (not sure about the books) but Thorin promised the people of Lake Town a hefty sum for supplies to allow them to reach Erebor. Thranduil (The Elven King) wanted the white gems of pure starlight, that he either was or wasn't promised, depends on which race you asked. Each of the races had a claim on the riches, but the orcs came for their own purpose. Smaug wanted it, the Dwarves wanted it, the Elves wanted it, and the men were promised it.
@@SephTheHuntress yeah Thorin did promise those things, and even though many dislike the Hobbit movies I really like them. my favorite being the first movie, but my favorite moment in them is when Thorin regains his senses and the company of 13 charges out rallying the dwarves
@@svenstani You're mostly right. From what I remember it goes back to the rings of power given to the dwarves. They were corrupted differently. The men became Wraiths but the dwarves developed dragonlust. It caused them to be so greedy that they hoarded so much treasure, which caught the attention of Smaug. I believe this is also why the dwarves of Moria ended up delving their demise.
So the gold is like a thing that dwarves have spent a long time amassing and it’s very valuable to them pretty much The humans were promised to have a share of it if they help the dwarves reach the mountain with food weapons and armor The elves supposedly have a necklace there that belongs to them and they want it back The orcs want to have that place because of its strategic position in the terrain And there is also Armies of goblins and some say that bilbo the hobbit count as the hobbit army but idk UPDATE this reply is misguided don’t take its word seriously

Hobbit is very streched, decent, but nothing compared to the Lord of the Rings. Thats why many People dislike them.@@uhtredragnarsson8961

Hell yes that would be totally epic
Is it just me or does anyone else hear a little bit of Sabaton The Last Stand?

I came here to see if anyone else noticed that too, i'm glad i'm not the only one.
I'm not complaining though, i like Sabaton.

Not only that. I can also hear some orchestral Dreadnought and a Russian song you've never heard about.
Honestly I hear more something like "you chained me up" from inchtabokatables
This song is a masterpiece. Thank you, noble sons of Durin!
Herrlich ❤❤❤
Banda temática poderosos, originales. Excelente 💪😎🎶
I want this as sound Track of The movies!
We need a metal band for each race of middle earth.
Amazing!
Ommfg!!! Synchronicity! 🕯️⚒️🕯️🤘
