I love that the actors are actual teenagers and not 30 year olds playing a fifteen year old. Also it is so good to see that not everyones skin is perfect. They don’t cover up acne but keep it in, what makes the actors even younger.
not all of them are teenagers and its not a bad thing legal adults playing teens as long as they arent super old. its a reason why legal adults play teens, safety reasons, child labor laws and some stuff minors cant film etc

What I love about Sara is that she’s an authentic representation of someone with Asperger. It doesn’t define her whole character and its often very subtle : for example, she understands everything literally and doesn’t always pick up the meaning of expressions and facial expressions. Also, being autistic doesn’t give her a free pass to make mistakes without being held accountable, which is also amazing.
And even better, the actress has Asperger as well!

I hated everything about that 'iniciation' thing, that it is not only gross, it is violence and i hate all of them. The biggest representantion of toxic masculinity right there, the worst thing it is that in some sports or groups they actually do sh*t like this or worse to iniciate guys that want to be in it, it make me so freaking mad. Guys, don't, you deserve way better, get out of there RUNNING if u have to, cause that it is going to destroy your psyquis
Not to say this ain't toxic masculinity, but afaik hazing is done in sororities, too. It's vile and dangerous either way tho
pretty common in sweden, or at least at my old school (16-19 yrs old), for the first years to be initiated by the third years. nothing BRUTAL-brutal, but degrading stuff like crawling on ur knees through the local park, passing a raw egg through everyone’s mouth without dropping it etc, and of course lots of alcohol involved. it’s seen as ”cool” and u don’t want to be left out yk so a lot of ppl go even if they feel uncomfortable.. so every fall when new students start the teachers always send out info to the parents to make them aware and make the kids not attend 😭
It’s common in my country ,mostly boarding schools ,I went to an all girls high school but it was not as harsh as shown in the show.

I'm not confirming that I've started watching it a second time already. However, on the second watch I noticed the way Willhelm said Simon for the first time and I about fainted!
The way I was nauseous the whole day after the initiation scene...
this show is incredible, it was written and directed by women which is incredible, and all the charecters dubbed for the english version also, such a diverse, well rounded, great at acting cast like WOW
