    This is an ingenious "invention". Plus works great James Bond gadgets. 😃👍 Clever. Even while the propeller looks small over there at the back of the boat.

    A good way to do some slow trolling for a small boat!👍

    Nice set-up! I actually put a Minn Kota Powerdrive front troller on my Aircat 335 a year ago (with a 6hp on the transom). Works perfect during fishing trips.

      That's awesome, is that the gps controlled trolling motor? How did you attach it to the boat?

      @@Fishingreminder It's indeed the gps controlled motor. I have glued four D-rings on the front of the tubes, two on either side, to which I strap a frame that holds the motor. I have shortened the shaft of the motor quite a bit as well. Works perfect! Small downside is the added weight to the front of the boat.

    Awesome, it's sort-of-a Temo 450, but at a fraction of its price. Good one!

      thanks! Yeah the Temo 450 is very expensive for what it is, eh. Only real advantage is that it has the battery integrated in the shaft. A bit less to setup.

      thanks man, yeah I think it makes quite a difference. Especially for drift fishing and trolling lures.

    very similar to the bixpy kayak motor. silent light motors r the best haha

      yeah silent motors make a big difference and it's also so much more pleasant. I might give the Bixpy a try in the future. The vaquita is a little bit faster and a lot cheaper but the Bixpy has a lot more accessories available. Although all the accessories are also crazy expensive.

    Hi do you know the best way to mount a fish finder transceiver to the Aqua Marine Aircat?

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, I'm using the transducer mount from railblaza and attached it to my transom. check it out: www.railblaza.com/products/transducer-mount-xl-arm-only/

      @@Fishingreminder Thanks! Which length or arm are you using, 40cm or 70cm and also did you order a platform to go with it? :)

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@somerandomperson8282 I'm using the long one and I also used a platform for the display unit and attached it to the bench.

      @@Fishingreminder I assume the long one is the 70cm one, the XL? Also did you get the platform from the same brand or a different brand?

    How much for this motor and battery in NZD?

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I paid $1200 for it about two years ago. An alternative is the Bixpy motor but it's almost twice as much.
