I'm just going to put this up for lazy mobile viewers. This is what happens when you give a real voice actor the reins of AI. Excellent work that lets a man voice a woman without as much intensive training. I'd say this is pretty healthy for AI uses, honestly.
Poor old knight. He wouldn’t have been able to save the monsters wife if he had tried, chances are. The man’s the guardian of a county too big for just him, without the taxes to raise the men needed to replace him. I’d be surprised if he survived at the end of this book your friend is making, but I do hope either him or his grandson manage to make something good of his fief, because he must’ve been a decent person if his hunter was willing to die for him
I made a channel just to comment on this video absolutely need a part 2. I was bummed when I looked up this story and couldn’t find it anywhere to finish on my own 😂
i do love stories like these. Tales about the every man, the mediocre ones just trying to live and survive. Also, clever use of AI to diversify your range. I don't dislike it.
@Nestnestsoto part 2 has been submitted. I let my friend read over it and we try to hammer out any small issues before he records. I'm truly flattered by how much you enjoyed it, friend.
This was great, too great. I needed an ending so I ran a quick battle between Louis and the Beast in the game I'm making as a test for combat mechanics. Great narration man, please do more.
I wonder if the beast was the reanimated corpse of the knight's son. With his failing eyes and the creature's rotting appearance, it's reasonable to think he might not recognize him.
@@burialgoods I would assume that he did. We don't get too much of the son's history. We don't know why he betrayed his father and joined a group of brigands. If his wife was killed by the horned men and he blamed his father for it, perhaps he carried that grudge beyond death.
@@burialgoodsprobably, but i think it’s like a hive mind thing, where the reanimated corpses get their own personality, before being absorbed into the hivemind.
This writing kind of reminds me of the Hungarian author Géza Gárdonyi, the man who wrote "The Stars of Eger" - detailing the story of the Siege of Eger during the Ottoman conquest into Europe
That was very good. I still think your witch hunter video is your best work, but this one comes close. Hope your friend decides to continue this story, or that you make more videis based on his work. The beast seems... a different kind of fantasy monster. I'd love to learn more about it.
@@SaintJames14 "Anon huntes witches (schizo ASMR)" It's a very nice story, and BG reads it extremely well. Scratch that - it's full blown voice acting, not just reading.
It's a revenant - a corpse that rises from the dead because they have unfinished business that keeps them from passing on. Usually, they become undead because they were the victim of a crime, or an injustice, and they try to rectify that injustice, usually through bloody murder (but not always). It's not so much a fantasy monster ; there are plenty of various kinds of revenant stories in mythology and folklore all over the world. Kinda like a ghost, except more proactive, corporeal, and not bound to a specific location.
I would love for the Twist to be, He maliciously survives the battle... only to learn who the Beast's Master is and what his plans really are. The suffering continues.
Is that the end? Is this part of a book? I can't seem to find the referenced J.A. Franklin "The Uninvited". I keep getting a horror book with different characters.
I love how deep and somber his voice can be. I'd love to have a full book narrated by him.

That's legitimately very cool, thanks for sharing
Oh man I feel so bad for this guy he's the equivalent of a medieval Highway Patrol cop and this great honking revenant pulls up on his house jeez

Holy shit this was intense respect for that old knight who can expect him to save everyone
Dam man, I didn’t want it to end.
This was incredible. If you ever do an audio book let me know so I can be the first to make a purchase.
This is probably one the best stories I've heard, I really hope the author writes a part two.
Perhaps he will.

The knight said “Lol”, the wolf said “Lmao”
Damn, this voice work is incredible.
Man, I could listen to hours of this voice, just reading good stories. I am so glad for talented writers and excellent narrators.
Incredible. Brought the whole thing to life.
This is the best narration I have ever heard on youtube, hats off good sir
The beasts manner of speech and actions is very similar to that killer from no country for old men, Anton
His talk was very Similar to the "Hotel Scene" yeah.

@@mx_nana_bananaI think it was just copying the huntsman’s final moments. A form of minor magic to mock the knight.
Damn, what a great story! Also all the work put into the reading of this story is excellent!
I may need to listen to this about 3 or 4 more times.
Ein aufregend video. Danke herr Tod Lebensmittel
Sehr wunderbar
Holy shit this is amazing
When i read, i read in your voice because its just not the same without it. Also waiting for that member button to appear next to subscribe soon.
I really like the story. But the Beast is going to feel real stupid when Louis takes his head. That's the benefit of fighting experience, boy-o!
I can't find any mention of "The Uninvited" by J.A. Franklin anywhere on the net. Where can one find the original source material?
He's a good friend of mine, and he hasn't published this story.

Is there any hope for a part two. Maybe, if it's too much work, in a less serious tone and with fewer effort?
That's up to the author
@burialgoods is there somewhere in particular that we can view the authors works? I could not find anything for J.A. Franklin online.
