Came here thinking I was gonna learn how to "fix" an issue but instead saw a swap of new parts. Still appreciate the vid bro I'll still drop a like for the friggin sexy truck
Hey man I have 55E Morimoto HID kit with CANBUS. Since i bought it new, the driver side light color becomes yellower then the passenger. After few months, the driver side stopped working. I replaced both bulbs, but after few months, the same issue occurred again. What might be the issue, and why something i need to turn the light on/off few time in order for the driver side to be working?
Yeah definitely brighter I agree. The bulbs also do get dimmer with age so having a brand new bulb helps. I’ll probably change out the other side too so it matches 💪
Bulb color is measured in Kelvin, or "K". You will see that number on every bulb you buy, even for every light in your house. Car lights should match in Kelvin
No disrespect, but this isn't a diagnosis. Swapping each component for a known good is merely troubleshooting. No hate, but a diagnosis would be cool, I was looking for someone showing checking things with multimeter, perhaps bench testing components on a bench with a power supply. That would be more along the lines of a diagnosis video. Have a like and subscribe anyway tho, seem like a decent guy.
I’ve bought 5000k from them twice !!! And they keep shipping 4300k it’s annoying. I’ve had the pair for a year and half now and they’re still lighting .
Love the video bro I run the same ballasts no issues once so ever and I run the 6000 k in projectors and there crazy bright
I get flickering on my fogs with the canvas decoder any suggestions?

Cool video, will also apply to other Mopar vehicles. My '14 300C has HID lights, so it will be helpful to me. Thanks man!
Thanks Mark glad you enjoyed it!!! 👍
I came to this video for the exact same issue, however mine is a 2006 300C Touring. HIDs are occasionally flickering off but are on 95% of the time.

How do you prevent these ballasts from failing? Rtv? They go out at least once a year
Helpful! Hopefully will solve the problem on my rather different vehicle, a Mini Cooper S. Nice truck btw.
Just dropping a like to the American channel 😂
🇺🇸 💪😂
The 4300 looks really good. I know it don't match the leds everywhere else, but definitely looks way brighter.

I have replaced both of my bulbs and only 1 ballast. One of them is more blueish and the other is more yellowish. Any recommendations?

Both my ballast brand new with igniter and bulbs still doesn’t work and fuses are fine any other suggestions
Buy new headlight bro
Do I need that canbus adapter for an 07 Infiniti?
I have the same kit just not the canbus thing
Great Video!! Left a like!
I'm trying to change my HID headlight back to regular the house of the headlight Chevy Camaro
When are you going to get a lift for the shop
It’s in the works! I’ll just keep working without it until we get that sorted out though 💪
What if it still doesn't turn on p?
I have one and I'm using it like booster for router,TV,Phone charger

Why did u just replace the bulb first instead of tearing the whole thing apart???
Wouldn't the the bulb be the easiest and the FIRST thing you would replace?

This is for entertainment purposes only. NOT DIAGNOSIS. Parts replacement at its best. But I learn about the 4300. Thanks!
thumbs up
My fuse keeps blowing… unplugged bulb, fuse still blows… I’m lost hate having no driver side bulb
Igniter failure
You should have, called the video. Old dirty ballasts!
Yoh , homie ! ?
You went backwards !
Bulb 1st , igniter 2nd and finally the ballast ,
Go ahead homie , fix your video !
Dont confuse people.
