AI in medical publishing - are we loving it?

Note this is a video recording of an online meeting conducted using the Zoom.us platform. Inevitably such recordings suffer a little in terms of their production values because of the internet connectivity and quality of webcams. Despite that, they allow us to provide additional valuable insights in to the MedComms business and we can involve a wider range of speakers who can participate from the comfort of their own desks, wherever in the world they are.
In this webinar we are reconvening our regular panel of specialist publishers. Clare Cook (Senior Editor at Adis, Springer Healthcare), Hamish McDougall (Publishing Solutions Manager at SAGE Publishing), Jonathan Patience (Head of Publication Development at Taylor and Francis) and Joanne Walker (Co-Founder and Publishing Director at Becaris Publishing) share insights into how generative AI in particular is impacting the business of journals publishing and the work processes. What tools are being used already? What guidance is being issued? Are we seeing more benefits or dangers? None of us are AI experts. This discussion is about the daily practicalities and questions that are arising around managing specialist content in the face of rapidly developing uptake of AI tools. And we answer questions from the audience.
It should be of interest to anyone who is working in and around MedComms, or who is wanting to join the business.
