Luke and Bobbi have coffee. They talk about Bobbi's new interest Dr. Noah Drake, and a little about Laura. Luke is introduced to Dr. Drake and does the big brother routine. Robert kind of defends Luke to Rick Webber. Benny is looking for Luke.

Anthony Geary brought so much personality to the character of Luke. No wonder this was the golden age of soaps.

1:42 Bobbie's expression, and 1:44, Luke's smile... they both seem unusually chipper or something! Hard to tell if it's Jackie and Tony or just in character.

They so are! I wish we had more of them now.. that's one thing about siblings... they last a lifetime! Bobbi is no less Luke's sister now... and he may need her more now othan ever!!
Unfortunately, TPTB didn't see it that way and moved Bobbie all the way to the background. She only had a recurring contract and never anymore storylines. Hardly ever saw her on screen, and then it was with Carly never Luke. Jackie died in May 2023 may she rest in peace.
Hi Sus, I just got caught up from last night. How's everyone doing? Does anyone else remember that Springfield also had a Sat. morning cartoon?... I liked that Robert was defending Luke even thought he hasn't admitted to himself that they're becoming friends.

Don't hate me but I liked Noah and Tiffany as a couple. My favorite Bobbie pairing was Roy and then Jake.
The Bobbie relationship story was a bit of a dud. I think it turned negative when Jackie was planning to leave. She left for a year to try movies. Was in a National Lampoon movie.

Trivia: while waiting for next clip I looked up RS on Wikipedia. He played himself on an ABC Sat. morning cartoon called Mission: Magic, a spin off of the Brady Kids, that was like the Magic Schoolbus. 16 episodes ran from 1973-1975.

Could NEVER happen I have never fallen asleep doing anything. I have to force myself to sleep it is almost torture! I just can't turn my brain off... it won't stop thinking!!
Does anyone know what Luke is saying just after he asks "how am I going to kill 3 minutes"? It sounds like he is saying "my something is all something" but I can't catch the somethings. Bobby/JZ keeps laughing.
I know "its my organs" and the last part is tricky. I think its either, "are ready" or "are waiting" or "are awake". Its really hard to tell.
Because they used to tape the show in order. The whole cast for the day was on the set ALL day long!!! So it was easy to cast these scenes. Now with all the digital stuff the scenes are done independently. The actors come in just for a couple hours and do their scenes. So some of the characters seem in such isolation. It is weird. They just do not have the availability of the whole cast unless they make a real point to do it.

There is something wrong with me that I function on 3-4 hours of sleep a night... but tonight I am just not being nice.. the lack of sleep is altering my frustration tolerance level. So I guess I need more sleep tonight for sure!
