this game was an amazon recommendation, i almost bought it but then thought i should find out more. i'm glad I did! this is so complicated and would surely be a source of conflict and confusion.
Genuinely perfect tutorial. Just title it don't waste your time on the 5 min one. An extra two mins will save you time to come and watch this to actually get the game!
Thanks guys! What a comprehensive video, can't believe we missed some of those rules until we saw your video! We have had so many great sessions playing this game :-)👍👍👍
This is a fun game. There's also a game called Mystic by Tickle Tantrum Games that's similar to this but they have much better and funnier game questions.
What I don’t understand is the randomising of the spectrum.. How are players supposed to know whether to go left or right? Turning the needle essentially seems a wild guess
@@hey23callme after this video I understand. The cluegiver of the team whose turn is now picks a card and randomizes the wheel. Then he chooses a subject matter he thinks will make his teamates move the guessing pointer to the side of the card the arrow points to that the points are, given the options the card gives. Then the other team tries to guess, based on the card options and the subject the cluegiver spoke, if the pointer is to the left or to the right of the points.
Incredibly informative! I watched a women before stumbling upon your gold mine of a video. Needless to say she has lost my business forever and I will actively be following your journey! thanks thoughts and prayers -Abby
Hi Abby, thanks so much for your kind words, we love to see you here, welcome to the University😃🙏. Tarrant is wonderful at explaining games (but I am bias haha). Have a great day! Stella.
In the swedish rules it says the 4 have to be fully visable. Is that not correct or a translation error? Edit: I checked the english rules online and it's clearly phrased completely differently. You are clearly describing the way the english rules are where the Swedish rules are clearly saying the entire 4 have to be visible (not a translation error, clearly written completely differently). Have the rules been updated at some point or are the translation people just bonkers?
Yes, unfortunately sometimes the translations aren't perfect. As you saw, the English rules go almost to excessive detail in clarifying this, so quite surprising that the Swedish rules differ.
Smosh just dropped a new video
🙏🙏
Hey fellow Smosh fan :)

This game is fun for some but not for everyone I guess.
"How [blank] I think something is" is complicated?
What games are you used to playing? Charades?
You two have the best tutorials. Thank you and happy holidays!
Happy holidays to you too, and thank you so much Bruno!

🙏Thank you so much friend
Thank you! This video was exactly what I was looking for and I am no longer confused as to how to play.
🙏 aww thank you very much for your kind words
Thanks, just picked this and Funfair up for some family game nights. Now I understand how the game plays we should be able to get it to the table soon
Woop get ready for some fun night hehe. Have fun Kevin!

Thanks Joy! Haha it's easy to miss all good. So so fun this game!!! And many more sessions to come!👍
Great overview -- although I would have lambasted the psychic for that "Eat your vegetables" clue being gauged at like only 75% encouraged haha
Hahaha 🤣 totally fair. Thank you for your visit👍😍
Eat your corn 🌽?
Nice and comprehensive tutorial, just bought the game and gonna try it tonight God's willing
Thank you so much

Yes fun for sure. Oh thank you for the recommendation 🙏

Ahh nvm I got it, the psychic places the card in the tray according to where the blue line is when he checked it! :)
:) Thank you for dropping by :)
I still have this question., please may you explain the link between the guessing teams answer and the way they turn the guessing arrow?

1:29 whats the difference between the advanced cards and the normal ones ?
Great tutorial, thank you!
Thank you so much Monica!

Stella.
Guys, I have to congratulate you, you did a sublime job of explaining this game. (I don't congratulate lightly.)
Thank you so much for your kind words and taking the time to do🙏🙏 Hope you enjoy the game too!
That was very helpful. Nice and Clear. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! :)
Clear explanation. Thank you.
Thank you so much :)
Y’all are so great with these tutorials! Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Thanks, made learning so much faster
Thank you for sharing that with us, hope you had fun playing
Does the guessing team know what is on the card?? eg forbidden / encouraged??
Hi Marina, yes the card is public knowledge for all players.
Thanks for the video, just saved 20 quid.
I've had Wavelength on my wishlist for ages now. Too bad it's so expensive! Great video guys!
It's so good! Hopefully there's some sort of sale after Christmas for you hehe. Have you looked into the ap? Not sure but it can be free?
@@MeepleUniversity Looks like the app is still in beta testing. Fingers crossed for that sale haha!
@@lightningmonkey706 Oooh ok ok im crossing my fingers!
My local half price books has two of them! Call your local store they can even get it to be mailed to you from another store
What if the guessing place is under the cover thing
Nvm i get it
Woot! :)
I think I got a broken game board because it doesn’t randomize anything
😢
@@MeepleUniversity ok I’m an idiot. I thought the wheel randomized by itself. I didn’t realize we had to manually randomize it lol
@@123rockfan Haha all good, your'e not an idiot, glad you can enjoy the game now :D
Just watch the psychics eyes when they open the blind, there's your location.
"Everyone close your eyes" will fix that ;)
Another grateful viewer here. I definitely won’t be buying this - especially for £30.

Ketchup rule???
If you spill ketchup? lol.
It sounds like there’s too much grey area in this game. And it’s just not very fun
the grey area is the fun part. this game requires creativity
Sounds like you'd be boring to have at game night.
@@l.t.c8.1.46how does creativity equal boring, just riff bro
Wait never mind your reply is to OP I retract what I said 😂😂
@@Mewoblast I appreciate the correction haha
Im confused
Thanks for the explanation! Helped me decide NOT to buy this one. Feels complicated and largely pointless.
