I watched this movie when it was released in the cinema and I fell in love with it. I was hoping it will be put on a streaming platform so you can review it. I wanted a professional take on it.
I'm so happy you it, its one of the best movies I've watched this year.
One of the things I loved about it was the role her father played in shaping her mindset. In a place steeped in misogyny, her father taught her that her gender is not a limiting factor, she can be anything she wants to be and its okay to fall(fail), you can try again. Those lessons are relevant for every girl child even in today's world.

Loved the film. This is probably the first Nigerian biopic that I can say that about.
I’ll have to add that the wife and I had a good life at the end when they showed a picture of the real Funmilayo with Azikiwe, but tagged it “Funmilayo Ransome Kuti with Kwame Nkrumah”. 😅
Not a small mistake, I must say.
