I ship BBRAE and I have hopes it will happen in this show but It always pissed me off that people would attack teagan over this ship when she was the first one to be cast on the show at all. If one of them should’ve been recasted for the sake of the ship it should’ve been Ryan. And sometimes other shippers forget that romantic relationships do not have to be portrayed physically 24/7. Overreactions all around for nothing from nasty shippers AND nasty anti-shippers alike. Even if they are waiting for her age. Why would you want to see a physical relationship between them…? They aren’t the same age as Dick and Kory. I would love to just hear both of them verbalize their feelings, to have them hold hands, and to have the others know about them (mainly dick and kory).
I agree that romantic relationships don’t always have be portrayed physically. I also think that some people don’t take into consideration that platonic soulmates exist- which means that the love that two people of the opposite sex have isn’t the sexual or romantic kind. I think that Gar and Rachel have more of a brother and sister kind of love for each other.
Honestly wouldn’t want either actor to have been recast, they work so well together IMO, also, them just verbalizing their feelings would be great, I’m just hoping it happens this season (even though it probably won’t).

I know we've seem physical relationships on screen with other actors but this one should be like Jason and rose. Flirty with maybe a stage kiss here and there, nothing physical really on screen. After all I believe their relationship is deeper than the others so it's more likey that they'll take it slow. It's less physical and more emotional with these two. They have a true connection with each other and that could be shown through multiple ways, not just a spicy scene

Rachel and Gar need to get together in season, they are legit made for each other. she admits to loving him in season 3 and ever since they meet, he's been the one to get her back and visa versa. we need a kiss in season 4, like ik their age gape is like 9 years but u have other movies that have larger gaps then that, like in last tango in paris the actors who kissed where 48 and 19 at the time, or in the battle of shaker heights the actors were 16/17 and 27 or in interview with the vampire the actors were 31 and fucking 11.

Nope, don't make excuses that question the writer's morality and the actor's comfortability just so the ship can work. What they're doing with the ship right now is fine. Not explicitly saying anything about it but letting the audience know it's there.
The thing that gets me is that the characters Raven and Gar are the same age so it shouldn’t be an issue. It’s just that the actors don’t match the age of their characters. I like the actors but I don’t get why they did that. It takes away from the story when people are too focused on the real life actors.
