It was a different kind of reception from the crowd it had a different feel, like everyone was projecting their love and admiration for Selena on Jennifer. Like she knew that wasn’t for her she was just the vessel that day, if that makes sense 😢 that was a lot of peoples only chance to be apart of the Selena legacy. I was 15 never got to see her live but grew up with her music since the early 90s. I’m getting a lump all over again. I get emotional when I watch the opening EVERY TIME because of what it felt like to be there that day. It was very emotional
They were there shooting for 3 days, according to the director the first day was more of a dress rehearsal, 2nd day was this one shooting her on the carriage, then the third day was the big day, of that scene where they open the curtains and see the whole place packed.
