Is there a clip on the strap that can be released to avoid having to lift the net over ones head? Not an easy manoeuvre when you're holding the rod in your other hand particularly when wearing a hat. In the video the demonstrator is not holding a rod and uses both hands to lift the net over his head.

I wouldn't use rubber nets, rub it on the paint on your car, it does the same to the fish. Better than nothing.
