It’s incredible how perfectly the number of fucks given corresponds with ascending age. Griffin: Dialed in 1,000%, offended at the notion of cutting any corners, ready to snitch to dad for the others not taking this seriously enough Travis: Genuinely trying his best, but doesn’t actually care that much one way or the other, willing to compromise Justin: Here for good vibes, baby, don’t even try to tell him what to do, he’s here to do what he wants
Doesn't that mean Travis gives the least fucks? Justin seemed offended that they were trying so hard to make progress. Sometimes it feels like Griffin doesn't want to be that guy, he just gets stuck balancing Justin.
@@SubjectiveObserver100% agree, sometimes I get frustrated with Justin seemingly deliberately stopping anybody from not being 100% silly at all times in all his products lol (though maybe it’s for the best and I just don’t know comedy, idk)
@@atsumaruthepartydragonslay5007 It's definitely a matter of degree. Anybody who gets bored as quickly as him will probably enjoy his goofs more than watching them struggle for a couple minutes. But his threshold for boredom is skewed very far from his brothers, and me. And he crosses the line when he starts patronizing them by reminding them it's an "entertainment product." Many people find it entertaining to watch them push through a hard obstacle (when they work together), so that was unnecessary and mean spirited. I'm sure they talk about this stuff behind the scenes, so maybe this battle was lost a long time ago lol.
Justin McElroy’s advice to himself on the mangoes that are just out of reach: “Don’t worry about this, Justin.” Words to live by. Especially since I also wish them to get the mango points but can only watch as they instead lay rotting, unwanted by the radioactive lizards who once guarded them.
If the episode before's Invincibility moment was god's blessing, then this episode was the devil's play LOL they're all relatively not bad at this kinda situation but Crash Bandicoot is an unforgiving series, and that's without talking about the 100% requirements
Is it just me or is there VERY little variety between the levels in this game? Pretty sure I played CB3 back in the day and the levels felt way more interesting and different
Kind of, yeah. CB2 is very similar to Mario 3D World in that there are a bunch of different level themes that all have a few gimmicks each, with every individual level mixing up the intensity of the gimmicks
I am 100% team Justin here lol. His attitude about the game is perfect and killed me laughing with the goofs that seemed to go unanswered. This era of games just aged like milk. Snes and nes are much more pleasant.
@@Sage_the_Turt yeah, I had it and crash warped as a kid. I don't think the mechanics are that bad but they weren't great to me. Although I think warped was smoother. They're just ugly to look at because polygon games from that time are harsh triangles that don't always match up with the intent and are hard to parse.
Regardless of how the game holds up, as long as they are playing it on stream, they need to balance humor with progress. Travis consistently keeps things upbeat without completely abandoning the game. It felt like they were only getting polarized because Justin left them hanging at crucial moments. His goofs would have been hilarious in a different context, but this felt like he was getting stubborn and knowingly irritating. Pushing buttons instead of pushing buttons.
Justin being a contentious objector makes me sympathize with Griffin. Yes, it’s funny and entertaining, but people also want to see them succeed more than fail. Failure should be a natural part of the process rather than manufactured for japes. That’s why people are getting a lil’ mad at Justin in chat. He comes across less as just making his own fun for entertainment and more-so sandbagging the content because of trolling. I enjoyed it a lot more when Justin came back and started trying a little again. It felt positive instead of negative. Three hearts, six hands, three heads instead of two and a captive jester. Sorry for the novel, just being a typical internet commenter and over-explaining something.
Most of the time, it just felt like he was struggling to judge Griffin's timing. As Griff got frustrated with the game, his callouts got inconsistent. Counting at different speeds and not communicating his plan clearly. And I wonder if the lag fluctuates.

My hero 🥲
Wild to me that they don't cut that out. Would take less than 30 seconds to cut and then just wait for the video to export.
@@marcusdillworth9813to be fair it also takes 30 secs yo scrub to when it starts lol

if yall arent enjoying the gameplay, its ok to pick something else !! genuinely, ppl are here to watch yall have silly fun, thats all
Absolutely!
I genuinely enjoyed mario the best, I've watched the other two because I like watching the brothers play a game together

@@atsumaruthepartydragonslay5007 I think he's just really bored being on slide and spin. In the previous games, he was more dialed in.
you guys should play yoshis island next. one person on move, one on jump, one on tongue and eggs
ooh or y'all should play castlevania to coincide with TAZ vs Dracula
They should just go back to mario, nothing else is working in quite the same way.
I was going to suggest this also, but I wonder how long they'd last with crying baby Mario...
can't wait for them to unlock crash's wallet chain that he uses to smash enemies
The brotherly urge to kill Justin at 43:18 was so real 😂

They're wumpa fruit, but otherwise yes go off, zen king
I was so sad the other two were in the moment when Justin gave himself a pep talk. Really cute
Big Hog Energy today
Not a fan of bandicoot but I AM a fan of the bois so I will watch this to the end 😔✊
12:49 omg that homestarrunner reference instantly transported me back to 2002, laughing with my brothers in the computer room
Crash's expression the second before the cutoff is life
Wizard is my new favourite cuss
Timestamps of my favorite moments to come back to later:
6:14 Aw wizard
47:24 The comedic timing of this was flawless
Who will win? Three Brothers or One Green Box?
the N Gin fight is iconic and you see the same thing repeated in a lot of games for a long time
These silly brothers not using the slide jump at ALL is insane 😂😂
The movement in this game gets really tight in the end game. This is gonna be wild
Sonic Heroes but the three of you control each character seperately
31:53 I was playing celeste while listening to this, so Justin seemed psychic for a sec lol
May Fungalore hear your wish
A little treat? For boys? 👀✨
Unexpected but appreciated homestarrunner reference by Justin!

15:35 feels very vaudeville-y, and I love it
Pocket coffee sounds like… a big sticky mess
25:54 Griffin sounds like Atsuko Okatsuka doing a bit
I am so here for Juice’s energy. I love you, Hog.
Would love to see them do Crash 3 - it's the best one imo - and you can play as Coco
I’d love to see you guys play Super Mario 64 in this style
I'm excited! Love the boys!
just so you guys know, the mcelroyale playlist is in the wrong order, specifically in the fortnite/spy party section; can't speak to later episodes
43:02 xdaxxaaxzz
i wonder if spyro would be possible for the brothers?
I need to see these 3 do a dungeon in destiny
Does the pocket coffee mean this stream is technically a mukbang?
A mbmbang, maybe?
idk... that's a big mukbang theory.

Trav nation!
I second Fortnite Lego, or just fortnite again!
Obsessed with Justin being very bad at this and blaming trying to be funny instead of not paying attention bc he's bored

Sims 1? One brother per sim (of a different brother)
hey guys! xdaxxaaxzz
Pls play LEGO Fortnite!

Really wish Justin & Travis would not eat on mic, that would be excellent
no it wouldn't
For the love of all that is holy do another game. It's not fun cause it's clear y'all aren't having fun, especially Justin.
Griffin barking commands and counting backwards is an awful watch for me.
Travis just not that good at jump tbh
