Absolutely. I’m tempted to suggest they play Symphony of the Nighr, since I think they would have a hoot with the monster varieties and story… but in terms of how well the gameplay fits this format, one of the original NES games would probably be better, yeah 😅

Gotta say I'm so glad they're doing crash bandicoot for this series! I used to play the crash bandicoot and Jak and Daxter games with my cousin all the time when we were kids. I will say, if they wanted a bit of an easier time, crash 3 is the easiest in the franchise in my opinion. But either way! Amazing series and I'm loving crash bandicoot's immense rudeness
As someone who religiously played Crash as a kid, this is painful and hilarious to watch them work out the mechanics wrong but savant and savescum their way to the end of a level anyways while authoritatively declaring what does and doesn't work. Love it.

It's definitely of its time, and those early 3d graphics are pretty rough. I replayed them a few years ago, though and thought they were still pretty enjoyable. But yeah, super Mario world is my favorite platformer ever, I think it's hard to beat.
