Love it that you’re doing a few of the oldies. As for where I play, our little town has what we call Pickin’ In The Park every Friday evening through the summer. There’s usually about 30 musicians gather and we form impromptu groups and each group plays three or four songs. Very popular among us locals. Might even be a little shine passed around now and then 😂
@@LearnGuitarFavorites I’d love that Robbie, and so would our fellow musicians. You’d love our Western NC Eastern Tennessee mountains. Might even be able to work in a fishing trip
So are you the only one on the internet I found that goes slow enough for new Pickers and older older people I mean it's nothing I'm just newest I'm a little older and huge Mr Whitley fan rest in peace but he made it enough songs and such a short period of time but I don't think he'll be forgot and now I can play one thanks to you and when I have enough confidence it on Facebook alive and do it my cousin said all I need is a little cheap microphone
Thank you for this!! I have been practicing this song 🎵 and you made it easy or easier for me to understand and play. I struggle with strumming patterns but I persist and hope to one day get it. If you take requests…would you please consider teaching an old one by John Schneider called “I’ve been around enough to know”?? I can find covers of this, but not tutorials on how to play. You make it look so effortless and sound amazing!! You are a good teacher.
Great job on this one. I learned it fast and have loved playing it. Learning "Cover Me Up" is taking a little longer, but I know I'll get there with the help of your video.
I've played this so long in standard tuning using E,A,and B, I try to play as he played does Keith Whitley capo up like you do here it sounds pretty good
Another good one Robbie,I found one on tabs that had a B chord in it to me didn't sound right, you're version sounds spot on,good job, from monroe north Carolina
Robbie this is my all time favorite and you make it so easy thank you. I enjoy the way you teach it's very simple and fun to follow along with you.I would also like to ask if you maybe try teaching Palomino Princess by Tyler booth no one has done it so far.
Hey Robbie, I watch a lot of your videos and you have taught me most of what I know. I want to start off by saying thank you so much for all of the videos that you have posted for everyone to learn from. I enjoy most of all the music that you have posted to learn from. However, I am hoping that you may know how to play a certain song and if you do, if you could post it for everyone to learn. The name of the song is "No place like home" by: Randy Travis. If so that would be awesome and and greatly appreciated. There are several other songs by Randy Travis and Keith Whitley that I would love to learn more of from you if you know how. I could request more but I am sure you may have many other people asking you to do the same so I don't want to be selfish. Anyways, thanks again for all of your effort in making my learning experience so much better than I used to be and I look forward to learning more. 😊
Hey! Could you possibly do Southern Symphony by Russel Dickerson? I think it’s fairly simple, but I can’t quite tell what he does at a couple parts. Thanks :)

Driver's License by Dylan Marlowe
Great song and lesson! What are the alternating base notes for the G chord?

Is there a way to play this song, without the Guitar Capo on it?
You can play it without the capo and just sing it in a little lower key.

I don’t understand the strumming
Your strumming is the most confusing thing I have ever seen in every video you do
