@@merc7paulHell No this man is spot on Chuck Taylors are horrifyingly uncomfortable. Not only are they brutal on your feet, they also start hurting your knees. If you’re looking to end up getting early knee replacements just wear Chuck Taylors 😂
you and your video are top their bro you were one of ppl that put me on to NB and 99x models in particular the 990 v6 and 991 that v6 is crazy comfortable! plus after getting questionable QC from nike it's refreshing to see a brand that has such high quality materials on there products! keep killing it !!
As said previously. Boost feels different depending on implementation. For example the nmd s1 is so so comfortable. Soft but somehow firm. Perfect blend.
Love the video Hes. I literally bought the 990v6 yesterday, put them on feet straight out the store and rocked it for an hour and half walk straight. Loved it.
With regard to boost, it's really multiple different implementations of it that provide very different experience on feet. The original Ultraboost/DNA is much softer than the current 21/22 - will be interesting to see how the 23 pans out. But boost on the EQT was crazy soft, not that far off ZoomX foam in many good squishy ways. Boost HD was actually the firmest boost - pretty mediocre in my opinion, but am sure many loved it. Boost is a family of midsole tech that gives you varied experiences on foot.
I'm a fan of the current boost more. I think it will hold up better in the long run. Using it at first it feels stiff and uncomfortable but within a mile it kind adjusted to my foot. Standing in the 22s is weird though I feel wobbly in the heel.
idk why they ever changed the formula, the original Boost midsole was the best. They peaked with the 19's, everything since then has been a downgrade. Really sad I didn't buy like 20 pairs of the 19's when they were available
I found Adidas Pro Model 2 a great shoe for comfort. And they're affordable so you don't have to worry about getting them dirty at work. The Bounce foam lasts longer than boost too.
chuck 70s have a more comfortable insole and vans skate versions of old skool, authenic, era, etc. have a pop cush insole thats very comfortable for all day wear. dunk sb > jordan 1 > gr dunks
I’ll take a pair of classic Vans any day over Chuck Taylor’s. I find Chuck Taylor’s to be extremely uncomfortable do to the amount of foot and knee pain they cause.
When I want something a little bit more firm, I really like the Asics Gel-Lyte's I have... I have a couple pair of 1, 3, and 5's and they're all comfy. Also most of Saucony's original collection that includes the jazz and grid 9000's have been comfy for me.
I am a social dancer (Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba) I love the Puma Suedes silhouette. They do not have bits sticking out so I know exactly where my foot is so that I don't step on a lady's foot. The outsole is not very grippy (which is something I look for so I can do a spin) When I need to do a weight transfer the flat bottom works for me being able to keep a balance. I can dance for hours and come back home and even though my feet are a bit sore it is mainly because I danced for hours and not the shoes' fault. As much as I like the max cushion running shoes - the grip and the squishiness are negatives for social dancing.
Fam, I just throw in/replace cushy insoles to offset the discomfort of a chuck. Also I usually opt for the skate version of most classic staples: CTS Cons instead of classic chuck.
Some corrections: - The New Balance 550, Adidas Forum and Superstars don't have a solid rubber out/midsole, they have a foam midsole - Converse All Stars and Vans don't have a thick midsole, they don't actually have a midsole at all, just a rubber outsole and an insole - Jordan 1s and Nike Dunks don't have the same mid/outsole, Jordan 1s have a small air bubble in the heel while Dunks have a foam midsole
AF1 have more "air" than Js1 right? But still made my knees and leg hurt after a day at the mall. Either I'm too familiar or used to my boost or react shoes or im just old lol. I still like AF1s over Js. Js looks too narrow and uncomfortable for my foot type
I skater. Ican guarante the vans slip on hurts. you step on a rock you feel it. you step on a coin. you feel it. your phone falls on your foor/shoe. it hurts. They can be good for skateboarding, sometimes, sure, but to walk around it's a bad shoe. have you tried it?
Bro I would never associate Chuck Taylor’s and Air Force Ones with being comfortable 😂 Chuck Taylor’s cause major foot pain and will result in getting early knee replacements. While Air Force Ones feel like clunky bricks on the feet.
Love your vids Hes and this is another good one. But…lol the Nike General Purpose show is generally unattainable for the general population. Us normal folk can’t get them unless you want to pay triple the original price. Pass. And I agree with other comments Chucks should never be in anything with comfort in the title. The shoe I’d add to the list is the On cloudflow. Pretty firm cushion and little drop. My favorite shoe right now
As someone with a hella wide feet, i'll put aj1 in number 10 and new balance 990 on number 1 while 2002r on number 2. Aj1 are really uncomfortable to me meanwhile i can use my 990v5 all day. I still like 2002r but it cant beat 990v5 based on my personal experience.
My feet require a firm midsole and a outersole with almost zero flexibility. I've been a New Balance dad shoe guy for years and years and years until the technology changed and the brand got trendy. I love me some dad shoes. I'm wearing Rebook Zig Dymanica, Adidas Oz's, Puma Cell technology shoes.
Hello Hez, I was wondering if you can do a video on comfortable insoles. I love the cushy feel of the Rebel V3, 1080v12. But I also like the stability of the shoes like the 990v6, Adidas Ozrah. I wonder if I can make make my 990v6 and Ozrah be more comfortable with nice insoles. I value your import because I think we have the same type of feet and body mass. Out of all the reviewers, I value yours the most.
The last Jordan I’ve had was in 2015 true blue 3s I’ve wore them maybe 6 times & I’m only keeping them because my wife bought them besides that JB brand is a no go I mean they are straight 🧱😬
I love the comfort on my 574 Newbies. I started wearing new balance last year to be different from the hype. So since last summer I started with 327s then 574 ruggeds then 574 conversations amongst us JFGs and more to come. And please let these kids know the difference between retro runners and dad shoes.
Agree on the 550, the 990s, the AF1s and the Superstars, totally disagree on the Chuck Taylors, they are horrendous. Another ones that i find super comfy are the Air Max 1s and the 90s
i guess not all feet are created equal.. having currently about a hundred over sneakers in my current rotation, i ordered two pairs of Jordan 1s last year in the low and mids form and it was one of the most uncomfortable shoes i ever tried on... Stiff toe box with little breathability. Good thing I could return them. I also have AF1s which i could live with but wont put them near a list of most comfy sneakers... From my experience with Nike i would rate the Reacts and the Roshes as the most comfy... the Waffle 1s also decent in that department. Yes the New Balance of course. I have the 990 v5 and v6 and either will be my gotos for an upcoming long distance travel.
im with u i guess because of my wide feet jordan 1s are super uncomfortable. Maybe i have to try upsize from my usual size for aj1 but after using 990v5 for 1 year now, I can say that 990v5 > AJ1 always. Super comfortable even after using it for the whole day
That general purpose shoe is kinda a grail for me, I still wish it was lower in price. I like the whole trail to town type of mentality and seems like you used it exactly for that. Adidas really is underappreciated. If I had to swear loyalty to a shoe brand it'd be them. They seem to experiment with more stuff and have stuff up my alley of trail to town.
Try puma trinomic or trc... I will cash app you personally if they don't make it in your top 10 😂😂😂 they easily more comfortable than the 7 of 10 I own on the list
most of the shoes in this list are just firm, not comfortable. was hoping for a list of shoes that are comfortable in firm kind of way like maybe some adidas bounce or under armour flow shoes, those type of stuff....not freakin jordan 1s come on. hes has even said in other vids that these shoes arent comfortable and his feet hurt from using them so i have no idea why the hell they are on this list and even number 1. new balance 99x shoes are on point though
Chuck Taylors are fkn uncomfortable, nevermind firm cushioning it has like no cushioning. That being said the CDG Chucks have a solid midsole and cushioning, those are what all Chucks should be like.
Hope you guys enjoyed the vid! If you don't follow me on twitter yet follow me here! twitter.com/heskicks or Instagram instagram.com/heskicks/

This is just a list of shoes with affiliate links in the description 🤨
Facts because at least 75% of this list isn’t comfortable for all day wear at all.
Love the video Hes. I literally bought the 990v6 yesterday, put them on feet straight out the store and rocked it for an hour and half walk straight. Loved it.
Solid pair! Wear mine a ton already!
@@heskicks what is more comfortable the Nike dunks low or the Air Force 1 low?
@@Johnmims65 AF1 because it has a big full length air unit. Dunks are just solid rubber

Reebok Questions are definitely top 10 in this style of sneaker. Way more comfortable than 80%of this list.
Love your videos 👍
I have used most of the shoes in this list. All from new balance are the best. Chucks really?! Nah man, that's the most uncomfortable shoe IMHO
I agree, you’ll end up needing knee replacements wearing Chuck Taylor’s 😂
Really thought this was going to be an aged tech list…Nike air, ASICS gel, saucony grid etc..
Is the Jordan really more comfortable then the 990 🤨🤔. I found it difficult to believe based on the shape of the sole.
I found Adidas Pro Model 2 a great shoe for comfort. And they're affordable so you don't have to worry about getting them dirty at work. The Bounce foam lasts longer than boost too.
chuck 70s have a more comfortable insole and vans skate versions of old skool, authenic, era, etc. have a pop cush insole thats very comfortable for all day wear.

the most comfortable shoes to me are the lightest ones
the best shoe is the one I dont realize im wearing
can you make a list of the lightest shoes?
i would love to recommend another comfortable firm shoe, which are slightly underrated, the nike air huarache
When I want something a little bit more firm, I really like the Asics Gel-Lyte's I have... I have a couple pair of 1, 3, and 5's and they're all comfy. Also most of Saucony's original collection that includes the jazz and grid 9000's have been comfy for me.
Which gel lyte do you like the most? I'm looking to the 3s
In a similar vein to the NB 990s the Nike Vomero 5 are a great all day shoe
I am a social dancer (Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba)
I love the Puma Suedes silhouette.
They do not have bits sticking out so I know exactly where my foot is so that I don't step on a lady's foot.
The outsole is not very grippy (which is something I look for so I can do a spin)
When I need to do a weight transfer the flat bottom works for me being able to keep a balance.

As much as I like the max cushion running shoes - the grip and the squishiness are negatives for social dancing.
I do NOT find the Chuck T's comfortable!!! I DO wear the Vans Oldskool!!! With the new ComfyCush.
So a Nike flat bottom shoe is better at standing all day than a 990v6?! That's hard to believe.
This ranking is wild.
Man i literally couldnt make it past 10 wears in the 550s... surprised to see these made the list
Samba and gazelle are very narrow to be a stable comfort shoes. Chuck's are on the narrow end too
Jordan 3’s are my go to daily wear. Probably my favorite shoe to wear all day.
So was this a ranking of likability or comfort?
nah to the chuck taylor. unless its the skate kind lol
Both are trash in the bag
The Saucony Rides are great. Not uber firm, but compared to all the max-cushion shoes I think they're a happy medium.
The Jordan Formula 90 is a great daily for me personally.
Really appreciate these top 10 videos
If I wore any of these at work(Ford) except for the adidas, my feet would be DEAD after 30 minutes 😭
The Chuck Taylors Comme des Garçons are surprisingly comfortable.
Can you do something for flat feet? There’s nothing cool out there for us plank foots
Thank you for the video. What brand of pants are those worn with the NikeCraft General Purpose x Tom Sachs?
I want to mention alot of brooks and on clouds are on the firm side but really good for standing all day on.

Midsoles aren't the same on 1s and dunks, 1s have air in the wedge and dunks don't, except for SBs which have zoom
