If your over 35 you would give anything to go back to that year in high school. This movie and American Graffiti is what "we" were all about. A time long gone. Yea baby, those were the days! Daddy-O, squares, At the hop, submarine races, and your heart so full of love you think it will explode. Time of your life, kid!
OMG! Thanks so much for posting this. I am a huge Nic Cage fan and luv this movie. Would you happen to have the performance of "He Don't Love You" from this movie, I would love to see it again. Thanks (1:41 AWESOME!)
This film was something of a showcase for future stars: Jim Carrey has been mentioned already, but Kathleen Turner's daughter was played by Helen Hunt (As Good As It Gets), and how many of you recognised the third girl in the clip? Step forward Joan Allen (Nixon, Bourne films)!
I love this movie so much! But its so funny how in the 80's they used 30 year old ppl to play teenagers lol! Mad t.v did a skit on that one time this guy was like "i'm so and so and yes i'm only 16 years old" then he turned around and had a big bald spot on the back of his head it was so funny lol....
I didn't mention Catherine Hicks partly because someone already had, but also I don't consider her to be anywhere near as famous as the others, not least because I would have referred to her as in Star Trek IV (I'm not acquainted with Seventh Heaven).
You have to be WAY over 35 to have had that kind of year in high school...try in your 70's now DADDY-O to have been in high school at that time. It must have been a time in your life to have forgotten how old you are...LOL I wish I was born back then, I had to go to high school in the early 90's and I am mid 30's. LOL I love that 50's era though. Maybe you had a senior moment. That is okay. Peace!
that was hysterical. I remember that time very vividly. Cage & Cary are a riot. Bet they had a lot of laughs making this.
This is a great movie and a great parody of a classic song..........long live Oldies.........
This is one of my all time favorite movies too and I'd love to see more videos of it on youtube if possible!
Best scene in the movie! And there were many. Also cool showing the American Bandstand clip of Dion & the Belmonts singing "Teenager in Love."
Omg i love this movie since i was a kid lol and this was always my fave part...i just love the story plot...n she see how much he really loved her

Well, The movie was made in 1986 and Nicolas Cage was born in 64, so he was only 22 (or 21) years old when this movie was shot
Oh yummy! What a great scene! Its been a long time since I watched this movie. Thanks again. :)
Love this movie - love the song......and I want that 58 chevy convertible..........

this is the greatest performance of I Wonder Why EVER. Nick Cage is the man. and Jim Carrey just makes it better.

Cool to see Jim Carrey in an early roll like this one :)

I love how short Glenn is compared to the rest of them.
Ah, bless him.
He is so funny in this movie.
Wow! Nicolas Cage and Jim Carrey singing together? That doesn't happen very often!
lol, they killed it. Niccce.
It's been on television for about 10 years now. Hard to miss. Launched Jessica Biel's career.
Classic movie, and possibly Nic Cage's best performance.
In fairness to rhpositive2002, the remark about Seventh Heaven was in response to me, and I have never heard of it. Has it been broadcast in the UK?
This is really Nicolicious :).
This Is For My BBF! :-) She Just ADORES Nick Cage!
@freaknkrazy Yea, I think it's one of his best roles actually. This movie is a gem.
young jim carrey was soooo cute!

Kathleen Turner was so beautiful in this film.
Well..the original is usually the best :)
Bye byyyyee.
jessica biel? this movie was WAY before her time...jessica biel was in diapers when this movie came out...learn your history son!
great show, but not quite the best film of all time GF2
when ambition meets religon
there will be blood
2nd best movie : )
It could be just the quality of the video, but none of them seem like very good singers...and nic singing makes me cringe.
