Depending on the currency situation, oranges came from overseas at Christmas. Butter, meat, sugar everything was short and hard to get. The taste from my first banana i will never forget. But we never ever acted like this, what they show in the video it was normal for us, that the shelfs were empty. We shared, we exchanged what we had. You have this, I have this.. let's make a deal. People outraged and inconvenienced over wearing a mask to save lives. made me ashamed to be Canadian. I see vids in Ukraine where people are fleeing bullets and yet still wearing a mask. The western side and the too powerful countries, have raised spoiled selfish, insane people. The scenes in Russian are probably because most have no clue what is going on, They may think the world is ending. Who knows what they are being told. But in Ukraine where you have your freedom to speak and learn, you know exactly what is going on. And it is making me sick there is not more being done about this. Im angry with world leaders on your behalf. If there is anyone who has earned or deserves help it is Ukraine. You have some of the bravest people i have ever seen. But simply stating that Slava Ukraini is associated with nazi's in Ukraine is not the full truth. It has been used by diverse groups in Ukraine and abroad, but the phrase was illegal in the Soviet Union. For people who don't know, the phrase simply means 'glory to Ukraine'. Soviet union and Russian writers have been trying to discredit the phrase for decades.
I'm not really surprised that nationalists, be it any kind of patriot or even a nazi, might use phrases that have heavy nationalistic connotations. Every nationalist is not a nazi, and nazi historically has been more expansionist and imperialist than nationalist.

And there aren't any food shortages in Russia right now, this video is from the first days of crisis. People were just panic buying the goods, and the retailers simply couldn't transport the products from the warehouses to refill the shelves in time. @@jaylockwood5030 Yeah of course we justify it. We are trying to bring a country down, that is TOTALLY destroying another country and killing thousands of civilians for no good reason. Do you think the sanctions are just for fun? What are YOU doing except for babbbbbbling about other people being self-righteous?

They obviously like that. They miss the Soviet Union so much. Putin's support is also rising again.

They are all dirt cheep, last for literally years in air tight bags & having that much means i wont last forever, just longer then everyone else.

Only thing you need to survive in a crisis is a gun, maybe a few friends with guns.
You'll have all the food you need.

In Russia, my neighbor has a grandmother. She goes to the store every morning and buys sugar for 0.6 euros per kilogram, she already has all the storerooms full of sugar. For two weeks she goes and buys, and they bring it back for 0.6 euros, this grandmother apparently has a plan to sell it to you later)))

yeah it was very obvious to me that the sugar buying in the video was for resale. they're trying to peotect thmswlves against the inflation of the rubel. sugar stays good forever and everybody uses it, so if the rubel falls, they'll be able to sell that sugar months or years later for way more rubels than they paid for it.

So, everything in your house is made in your country? You don’t rely on any other country for food products or clothing? Or electronic? Just wondering.
