combat game go brrrrrrrrrrrr, Subscribe This game was a bit too much for me to handle as a beginner, luckly im starting a brand new project that will actually help me learn, and probably releasing a full game.
Nice job even down to the camera and environments, I can’t see the attack movements as clearly because everything’s so fast but it looks pretty good! I personally used the Paragon characters as a base for the combat and added my own stuff to it. Saves some time. And adjusting the saveattack notify lets you adjust how soon you can attack after finishing the initial attack, depending on the timing the combo can feel clunky or flowy. It’s a good way to convey speed without adjusting animation speed. I think for me setting up basic attacks is pretty straightforward. The hard part is making the moveset interesting and coming up with a fun game loop where you’re not just mindlessly swinging around. Overthinking this for some characters has gotten me burnt out a few times..
That most have taken some time to make, looks great ! In fact if you would be up for it, We are making a horde shooter And we are currently looking for another programmer ! In the game you deliver cargo from point to point while defending yourself from all kinds of monsters. We have all sorts of concept art, animations and models just let me know where I can share some of them with you ! (might be a cool thing to drop into portfolio as well !)
crazy videos goddamn i would "recommend" (from viever pov, ive never created nor edited videos) doing LONGER videos, maybe EXPLAINING the things you are doing BETTER. Also SPLITTING the video in different parts, like making the terrain, combat system, etc etc. Last thing i would say is that the whole video is TOO STRAIGHTFORWARD, too much transitions and it just ends quick and viewer doesnt UNDERSTAND the video at all. Finally, this is my opinion. I like to think this "can" be your style of editing videos. Thank you for understanding. +1 subscriber
