Great video! I just purchased a new Windows 11 laptop today and this video is great help as I've never used Windows 11. At 15:31 should you also uncheck/disable PowerShell 2.0 to better secure your Windows 11 system? Again thanks for putting this video together. Cheer's from Vancouver Canada.
18:16 actually...a lot of ransomware attacks start with data-stealing. The attackers will download copies of all your files to their own devices before they hit you with the ransomware. Then if you have a backup they can still blackmail you into paying them.
Yes well Brian ESET cuts out the Windows scan telling me it is covered by them. I am glad that you explained Bitlocker in a basic way as I was not sure of this feature. Plus I always use AOMEI as my backup source so thanks for the assurance of using it.
Good day. I loves your tutorials and your videos. Keep the good job. I would like you to help me protect my usb flash from virus. I normally put software on my usb flash drive and install them on my custmers pc. But most of the time my software get infected with viruses. I have tried to put my flash on read only but sometimes the viruses disable the read only and affects my .exe files. What can i do to strongly protect my external flash so that my .exe dont get affected by viruses whenever i want to install software on my customers machines...
The only time I might delay an update is the biannual H1 and H2 updates. I will delay by 3 weeks just in case there is a bug. I make my own installer and install that H1 or H2 update during off hours.
Tell you what i think is dumb. core it scans to see if your compatable to use core isolation an then when it recognizes anicompatablility it tells you to resolve it first. It should tell you what driver is having an incompatability not just say fix it first.
Bad idea to get Microsoft patches immediately. Smart people wait for a week or so and check the internet to see if the latest patches are causing any problems.
I would not advice you to use Kaspersky. I lived in Russia long time and know who manages this company and what are they doing. Kaspersky AV is also spying, not only protecting.
Do you use any of these settings? let me know in comments below.

DefenderUI is a handy tool for detailed settings of Windows Defender. Love it.
Also, Malwarebytes Firewall Control is grand.
Both good choices

A video about virtualization and Hyper-V would be great!
Thank you for another video. Personally I'd like to see a video about BitLocker.
Noted!
Great video please make more and keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
Excellent guide.
Glad it was helpful!
Does the Administrator account need any settings if it will be used only for giving permissions?

Actually Brian I check my updates everyday as a personal choice as then I know what I am downloading and installing.
Why do I hafta reinstall Windows 11 Home to enable Smart App Control?? Is that only for 11Pro?

If you use virtualbox, having memory integrity ON make it almost unusable - too slow.
Correct
