great race, u do know that for that last bit staying in higher gears means you lose less speed so you wouldve finished earlier

@@johndoubleu5792 Yeah, I'm quite sure he did it for the dramatic effect. He deffo knows about the engine maps, obviously, and could've probably saved that 0.2 litres with a little bit more lift and coast at the expense of some EOS top speed before Tiergarten, Schabelschwantz, Mutkurve etc.

41:06 You lose speed by downshifting, basically engine brake. You should keep it at 4 gear to keep momentum and probably get p10. Anyway good content after all :)
What is your best lap time around the nordschleife in acc?
@@mutzlizutzli3441 I don't know what my best lap time is compare to small mistake by Jardier that he make in 41:06. It's like common knowledge he was just to hype and didn't think a lot about it.
@@mutzlizutzli3441 Anyway to answer your question. I start playing car simulators before 4 month. I start first with Dirt Rally 2.0 in the first 2-3 months after while it was super hard to improve my skills and i stop playing. I take a brake for 1 month from car sims. And then i decided to order wheel for racing. 1 month ago i start playing ACC i found Jardier super funny and competitive at the same time, and i learn most of the thinks from his videos.
So far my best lap for beginner is only 08:25. With avg pace of 8:35 most of the time. Keep in mind i use Wheel only from 4 months (GT/Formula type wheel 1month ago) and having only 60hours of playing in ACC (probably 40hours of driving - 20hours of learning the setup). I hope this help you somehow with your question. :)
