      He's shown he can be a legit starter on a good team. His point guard play is really impressive. And the lights aren't too bright for him. That's going to translate into a significant payday next year.

      ​@@auntiez4917 True, but that is what I think is an advantage for the newly constructed Lakers. LeBron can rest on the court as a threat but he doesn't have to lead the team in scoring every night. This allows him to conserve energy for the most important points of the game.

    I'm surprised at how much I enjoy watching LeBron play well. It's weirdly comforting. Dude's been dominating the NBA for 20 years. That's almost 2/3rds of my life.

      It's cuz he's adapted his style and learned and evolved and he's never looked out of place. Like, Bron has been thriving thru different eras of basketball. Early 200s had a lot more post and inside play, was a bit more physical. And now the league is all about spacing and running and deep shooting yet he's STILL getting it done at both ends.
      Mans is truly a basketball savant

    Took 2 charges tonight had 22pts,20Rebs,7Ast,2 2Blks. 15 of his 20 rebounds came on the defensive glass. He spent a lot of time guarding Jaren Jackson. Played 45 minutes at 38 in year 20. On top of hitting the clutch Layup to send it into OT then AND1 on Dillion brooks in OT.

      he played well tho. He made key plays in the clutch and got his team open looks......sometimes the shots don't fall but he was aggressive and lakers had to be on him all times

      Memphis needs a healthy Morant to win a playoff series. Maybe they can win a game or two; but not a series without a healthy Morant. Morant ain't healthy and Memphis needs limit him in Game 5 because Memphis is not going to win this series. It's not worth it to injure Morant's hand even more.

      I think the team is better when LBJ scores between 20-25pts and Reaves, AD, DLo etc chipping in..that way Bron doesn’t exert all his energy scoring 30+. He looks great, he’s been pretty locked in on defense too I think saving his energy, letting Reaves handle the ball will carry them in the long run

    Russell's 3's saved my Lakes butts tonite, man they were missing everything, and Lebron taking that charge was big. Great game, thank goodness only Bane was hitting anything the rest of the Grizz couldnt hit anything mid range or 3's.

    One of the problem was that ja's still forcing the issue. If his shooting hand is not fully healed he should've not taken 24 shots. He ended up 8-24 fr the field. Memphis played well without him in game 2.

    12:45 Kenny is on point here. I mean, sure the Lakers definitely need some offensive production for him and that's something that he has inconsistently provided this series, but the most important thing for him is his defensive contributions. And for that he has been consistently good. Even made a clutch block in this game. And we all seem to forget that the DPOY is the one guarding him on most possessions so it's not like he's up against a scrub on offense. 21ppg for the series, that's not bad. But averaging nearly 5 blocks and 2 steals in the series? Damn.

    To be a truly great team when the opposing team is down, you put your foot on their throat and don't let them back up. It was something the Magic, Kareem, Lakers learned to do in the 80's. I'll admit that I'm a Laker fan, but just watching the game it's something the Grizzles have not yet mastered.

He had Artest, Lamar Odom, Pau, Bynum, for most of his career and underperformed in the playoffs every year. He didn't give them a chance to develop. Lebron on the other hand developed some players and I'm sure he requested to get certain players traded to play alongside him that fit his style. I don't think Kobe would prefer other shooters over himself, and I'm sure Kobe hand picked people on his team too--just like all good players. So this isn't going to be a valid point

    Unfortunately, we can't count on AD to give us 20+ a night. Thankfully, I think on a given night Reeves, Dlo, Rui, or Dennis can match LeBron in points. As long as AD stays committed to defense and rebounds we should be straight.

    I dont get the AD slander..... Hes being guarded by the DPOY.....His performance is credit to JJJ, and less about AD not playing up to what were used to. I dont doubt the injuries but hes playing A+ defense, hes setting great picks and when the shot isnt falling or the offense is gonig other places hes still staying involved and passionate. The Lakers are a damn good team with AD playing like AD but theyre still a good team when hes not himself but still putting in the effort to be useful and helpful while on the court.

    AD played good for me, he played defense well, u don't have to score alot to be effective in the game,
    u don't have to force it if the opponent is not giving it to you and ur teammate is open and making shot

      He was actually top 3 or so in scoring before he got hurt...plus he'd been laid off. I watched all those games...look it up. He is still the only 40 yo player with a 50 point game. He has more 40 point games than anyone at 40 plus and he was actually doing that AFTER the injuries but in spurts. When he felt good, he was still extremely difficult to guard. He was posting everybody up, hitting fade aways on everybody.
