I've been watching this show for a while now and it's crazy how underrated it is. The ending song is a masterpiece in it of itself, and the way they show the differences and similarities between Tokio and Maru, as well as the dynamics of different characters in the show are all so well balanced and believable. Many scenes in the more recent episodes have caught me off guard, but not in a bad way. So far its a very emotional series that isnt afraid to delve into some darker topics while still maintaining an air of light heartedness. I'm excited to see where the show goes and hopefully it will get the recognition it deserves. It's a shame that Disney blocked it from US audiences because I think it would have been well received by many. Great video, keep up the good work!
Did they cut out the useless rape screan from chapter 30th something? The reason why I say it's useless because it's only there for shock. No showing how it is, or how this can effect on someone, and showing the trauma and dealing with it in a nuac way like in Berserk. That chapter made a lot of people drop the manga.

I don't have much to say about it so far as it happened in the last minute but just wanted to put it out there.

Easily one of the best shows of the season. It's one of the few I'm watching that I eagerly look forward to the next episode each week. It definitely deserves more love.
Disney+ in america isn't just missing heavenly delusion and summertime render, it's missing ALL the anime. All disney+ licensed anime is released on hulu instead in america. Anyway, this show is amazing, probably even my favorite of the season, even though it's got some stiff competition. Nothing this season hits me half as hard as this show and it just feels so unique in it's vibe and world.
heavenly delusions episode 10 had a guest episode director and storyboarder: Kai Ikarashi of Studio Trigger. and if anyone hasn't seen it yet they should it was extremely intriguing

As someone who really enjoyed the first 15 episodes of darling in the franxx, only to be completely disappointed by the last 10, I initially stuck with heavenly delusion for the similar vibes (what with the children in a facility etc etc). But MAN am I glad I stayed, it's quickly turned into a top 5 show for me, but I haven't seen anywhere near as much buzz about it online. Thanks for bringing more awareness to this great show!

Looks like the manga had a lot of backlash due to a certain situation in chapter 32-33, I'm still uncertain of what people found so upsetting about it, I'm at volume 7 and it has been one of my favourite mangas since when I ordered it almost randomly online while we couldn't go outside in 2020... If my math is correct everyone will see what it is about in episode 11.
It's because that scene was so useless. Why have something that traumatic happen then treat it like an everyday event after? That should have been a paradigm shift for the series
@@theanimerapper6351 thanks for the explanation, I understand why you may see it that way but I think there is a lot you're missing about what happened there and how it is linked with the rest Kiruko's character arc.
As a manga reader the plot is currently at a spiral of mysteries that never seems to end, and worse even more mysteries keep getting introduced and piled up with no answers in sight. Now the anime adaptation is a masterpiece and in my opinion better than the manga itself because of the direction and yes it isnt a panel to panel adaptation of the manga which made it even better. if they mess up the ending like darling in the franxx it wont be surprising for me because of how many mysteries its currently juggling with only two hands but if it sticks the ending like Baccano! did it'll be immediately my jam. I am a mystery fan and like the genre more for the satisfying answer than the mystery itself. Now you know why manga is worse rated than anime TY for reading a Manga raders rant.

Then Durarara it is, its written by the same writter has similar character dynamics like baccano I am always wondering why people skip on it. Next is a curve ball but Made in Abyss is definately worth checking out! Its like Baccano in a way that it drip feeds you information every moment and builds up to an answer, although its ongoing and i am being really pessimistic by saying it'll have the answer you want but Made In Abyss has a fantastic journey!

Personally, I'd prefer it stay underrated (I'm not saying it does not deserve recognition far from it actually it's really good) but my worry is when something becomes mainstream and really popular it attracts a large crowd and with that comes a lot of problems that just ruins good shows man, like toxicity within the Fandom and people who don't even care about the show and appreciating it but just people jumping into the bandwagon. I mean there's a kind of appeal to underrated anime, especially when you first watch it you don't expect much because your first thought would be "why isn't it popular", "does this mean it's not good" then you try it and damn is this the best thing you've watched in ages, leaves you feeling empty afterwards and stuff. That to me is special and the best feeling ever I love finding hidden gems. Anyways I also thought the same about Summertime render damn was that good. But yeah it does deserve recognition. Anyways here are a few recommendations for anyone who wants of some good shows I think are underrated. Btooom(death game) Record of Grancrest War(fantasy with war) 86(just try it out please, nothing can describe this) Thats all I can think of from the top of my head but that's my two cents also if you don't agree with what I have to say that's fine but let's be civil and not mean, thank you. Tengoku Daimakyou is fucking peak and underrated asl and I'm so glad i picked it up. It's so good that I've started reading the manga since the anime is coming to an end in a few days. The only gripe I have with the anime is the naked children even tho it doesn't happen often, once is too much.

I've been watching this show for a while now and it's crazy how underrated it is.
