Always enjoy your updates, it is interesting seeing you establish a commercial farm , without spending huge amounts of finance. Take care of yourself with injuries allow yourself time to recover .
So good to see you Isaac, hope your injury is healing well, and your feelin better. Love the new stock and the little ones. Spring is only days away,we stll have tons of snow here. Take care matey and no more injuries, love ya ,safe string. Hugs.
I just watched your video, I Just Bought New Bulls - did you get that bull's hooves fixed that were curled up? He looked miserable. They can be trimmed. Please help him.
That is a possibility. We dealt with that at the home farm since it used to be a dairy, the vet said it just lived in the soil. But I won’t be retaining any heifers from this herd and the cows themselves will also be going to slaughter after raising a calf. I try to pick cows that don’t have a clear Johnees case. The skinny cow shown actually has solid manure and doesn’t appear to have it. It is a real concern though!
It's good to know you're aware of the risk. Sometimes people just aren't aware of things that can happen. I am personally trying to rid my herd of BLV. I hope to never deal with Johnees. @@FarmandHammer

I just can't help but wonder if you'll bring johnees into your herd eventually.
