Agree. Great city, though a bit upscale. Very nice fun things to do. Always some of the other little fair happening on the beach. LIttle food festivals. Great broadwalk and pier. Pompano beach to the south of Deerfield is another fantastic place with similar attractions. Florida has many well known cities, but many more desirable places like Deerfield Beach lay unnoticed right around these big more well known cities.
Deerfield beach i did not like at all. Never coming again. Booooring . Where was that broadwalk and where were those restaurants? I know one, fish. Nothing else to write home about

Me and some of my relatives did a cosin vacation in Destin, Fla. 3 years ago. We arrived on a Friday evening and stayed until Monday in a rental beach house right on the beach. We also went to Margaritaville. We had a blast. Destin is so beautiful.
Florida Native here with some tips and info. Florida is not at all a small state. If you plan on visiting any of these places, you will be driving a lot. Everything is spread out. If you do want to do it all in one go then I’ll break it down location-wise. Starting from central Florida, relative to Orlando, I would start a day at St. Augustine as it is ~3 hrs away. Then another day would be KSC, about 30-45 mins away from Orlando. Keep in mind that all the Orlando theme parks are super pricey compared to 20 years ago and they are all about 30 min away from the city. Then heading from Orlando to Tampa where Clearwater is is about 2.5 hours away. From Tampa, head to Naples which is about another 2.5 hours. From Naples, head to Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area. You’ll be driving through the Everglades for about 1.5 hours. From Miami you can drive to the keys. So from the above info, I would pick a region to visit and do everything there because most attractions here involve a lot of driving.
So Zig Zag the state? Dude! That is magnificent! I am trying to figure out how to have my adult kids hit most of the state to see where they want to lay roots down. They are not into all the tourist traps and stuff like Busch Gardens, Disney World stuff like that. Would love for them to see both coasts from St. Augs down to Miami, and also possibly up near Destin down to Siesta Key?
I miss visiting Fort Myers. I had family members who moved from there to Easley, SC. Even though I understand and respect their decision, I wish they stayed in Florida.
There are so many springs that it might have been hard to pick a specific one, but they are a better tourist destination than many of these places that were listed, especially if you're not wanting to be in the middle of a city.
A lot of lists have included Pensacola to Destin lately. The beaches are the best in America. Pensacola all the way to Panama City. You have to love the beach though as industry is coming but it is slower than I’d like.

I grew up in Panama City Beach and now live in Tampa Bay and I would say the differences are that the beaches in PCB are a lot more accessible in my opinion. Also not as crowded in the off-season (the beaches get extremely crowded in the spring + summer though, as they do anywhere). As for the disadvantages of PCB they built all the condos right on the beach, so you don't have great views while driving down the beach front (called front beach road). Otherwise you can't go wrong with any beach on the Gulf. I have also lived in Atlantic and Pacific Coast cities and those beaches don't even come close to touching the Gulf Coast.
@@tchombre1992 Agree the white/silver sands are almost patent protected by the Gulf Coast beaches. Siesta key, Clearwater and other places. The Atlantic coast beaches have a more golden feel. However the waters are blue on the Atlantic coast and greener on the Gulf Coast. There are places where the two waters meet and due to the differences in pH and chemical composition of the two oceans, the two waters don't mix and it is interesting to see an invisible line with the blue ocean on one side and the turquoise green ocean on the other side.

I was in Florida 10 years ago to visit some relatives who live there and I did like it so much. I visited Orlando, (Disney World, Epcot Center, Universal Studios) Kissimmee, Gainesville (I enjoyed Drag Racing Watching), Melbourne Beach, St. Peter, I went on a boat tour in Miami Bayside (breathtaking Homes from famous people 😃), Key Largo (amazing place to live in) and Islamorada. People were friendly most of the times. I am a beach man. I would like to live over there. I hope I can go back to Florida in the future.
I live here in Tampa and for you tourists planning vacationing here over the summer should really carefully plan because we have alot of thunderstorms here it will ruin your outdoor activities. Including theme parks. Etc

love this video! one thing that I learned and wanted to share with you is to look for a duffle bag that best fits your luggage and has all the wonderful features a bag can have especially in plane travel use. I'm using Nomad Lane's Bento Bag and it's a good choice.
Kennedy Space Center is really interesting, and nearby Titusville, Florida has a lot of very interesting space history and monuments about the space missions and astrunauts.
Is Sanibel and Captiva recovered from the hurricane by now? They are featured in #9 but got hit hard. Not saying that makes it unvisitable but still something to consider if you are going.

@@ebraaarrr the beaches on the west coast of FL are much more picturesque (IMO).
Not to mention it's unbearably hot in the summer. December to April is the best time I think.
