I too would had loved a true Keaton Movie Acurate no neck articulation Batman it is wild but yeah it would had been cool that this 6 pack version had no head or neck articulation
I don't have a problem with them adding neck articulation to Keaton, it's how they sculpted the neck. They already proved with the Flash Keaton they could do the thick neck and have articulation with it being near invisible from a distance. There's no excuse for what they did with the Keaton figure here especially as Kilmer and Clooney look fine.
Since I already have Keaton, Affleck and Pattinson versions, I’ll probably hold out for single releases of Kilmer and Clooney. I’m wondering if the choice to do soft goods was making it easier to package. I’m not a fan of the soft good capes. I feel like it cheapens otherwise cool figures. Great video Josh!
The only reason I was gonna get this pack was a BvS batfleck so I was pissed when they reused the ZSJL body, but that Batman forever fig is sooooo cool, Clooney looks pretty good too
Finally, someone else who prefers sculpted capes to floppy, characterless pieces of cloth! I swear, people only prefer cloth capes because that was the cheap stuff companies like Kenner gave us while we were growing up. We have better alternatives now but that “back in my day” mentality really has a grip on a lot of people.
The affleck head is definitely different and prob best one they’ve made saved best to most likely last for a Batfleck figure. As for the Keaton batman I don’t mind head articulation however the Silhouette of the flash movie figure is kind of way they should have done the ‘89 figure whereas way they’ve done it it’s almost reminiscent of how the dark knight suit is. Great set but waiting for the single releases of the new ones so that way should have accessories

Unfortunately, I don't have my set yet. I was stupid enough to preorder the 6-pack from Target (at the time I preordered, everybody else was sold out.) So glad you were able to get it, even if you had to pay a little bit more. Yeah, this set looks really tremendous! Val Kilmer is by far my favorite. Beautiful figure! All 6 figures though are very well done. I think Affleck and Pattinson are both big improvements over the originals and of course Keaton is amazing! The bat signal with all the changeable bat emblems really makes this set an incredible value! While I would prefer a bigger, brighter bag signal, it does look great and works very well. Can't wait to finally get this beautiful set in hand!
@@MichaelMillerJ I probably shouldn't have lumped the mezco one in with the neca one tbh. I understand why people like mezco but they don't suit my personal taste.
This is really cool. I got mine yesterday from GameStop. However, the box got damaged in most of the corners as there was zero packing material or bubble wrap. Very disappointed with that but otherwise pleased with this set!
Great review Josh definitely excited for this and glad I got one recently and I'm okay with doubling up on some of these figs definitely worth it with the cloth capes

Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Robert Pattinson and Ben Affleck because I personally don't care about Val Kelmur or even George Clooney Batman movie design suits that so much Overall, Awesome honest review on this DC Multiverse pack Josh

The set looks incredible, but I think its a missed opportunity not to have included extra hands and batarangs for each version of Batman to hold as well.

Not gonna lie, this weird fixation with actually WANTING plastic capes is a bit insane. To actually want a fixed, plastic cape that's forever stuck in one position that the designer wanted. That limits and impedes the articulation and poses you can do and which gives the figure a toyish, cheap look is a take you dont really see often. A good, wired cape not only lets every figure shine to the max, but you can have infinite poses with it. You can change the figure completely weekly, for all eternity if you so chose. You can crouch and bend the figure however you want, because you dont have a giant plastic behind it preventing you to crouch. Outside of mcfarlane i cant think of any manufacturer, the more high cost ones offering plastic capes. You're paying more money to have a more premium feel and look and options, not to get a plastic cape
Agreed! Those Neca 89 Batmans are just plain ugly. I don't get the hype on those either. This set is 90% there, about as good as it going to get. As always nothing but a great review from you, clean , honest and to the point. Thank you Josh..

McFarlane should release the bat signal on it’s own, this way collectors can display each signal with each Batman
We will probably see it again. It’s not perfect, but they put a lot of effort into for it to be only available in this one multi-pack release
The Mezco is the gold standard for Keaton Bats imo, I do really like McFarlane's figure tho. Fun review!

It is weird when they have relevant solutions that they don’t carry over into other figures
