Long story-
There is a Cookout restaurant near where I live and they play Christian music. I keep hearing this song play and no matter if I was sad, happy or angry I always got goosebumps. As I was listening I started looking it up but then my phone died and I was so discouraged because I don't have the most reliable memory. Later today when I felt alone and left out I started humming the tune and it was as if God came to me and entered my body as to say You are never alone my child for I am always with you. I had cancer (A.L.L.) when I was a infant and became cancer free until the age of 5. My parents told me stories of other children that didn't make it and seeing their parents devastated by the news and were scared the same might happen to me. But looking back at how close to death I was, I can't help but think that God has a plan for me. I am planning on getting baptized soon also. I'm ready to fall to my knees so I may touch the sky and see my creator.
Such a touching story and Yes God has an amazing plan for your life! Remember He always loves you irrespective of you!

It's unbelievable how a song can give you so much power and hope, really touched my heart.
I USED TO HAVE SUPER BAD ANXIETY. It was horrible. I had it for about 4 years. I would overthink things all the time, I was scared to raise my hand in class to answer a question because I was scared to be judged, I couldn't even talk to a girl one on one because I was so anxious! I wanted to be in theatre because I liked acting but I didn't want people to judge me in a bad way for getting into theatre and being some "weird theatre kid". I never went to church, I had never prayed or read the Bible before. Then one day in 2018, my friend invited me to a Bible study at our high school. I thought about it and decided to go and check it out. And on October 9, 2018, my LIFE was changed forever. I remember leaving the classroom so happy and excited to come back the next week. So I started to go to the Bible study every week and begin to learn about God. The true and living God of the Bible. I started to pray and read the Bible and see if God was truly real, and then over the summer I went to this huge church conference and on the last night, the preacher said "if anyone's going through anything, I want you to come to the front and ask God to heal you" and I went to the front and I got down on my knees and I actually cried out to God for the first time and I said, "God, if you can actually heal me, please help me!”, and right after I said that, I heard the clear voice of God for the first time in my entire life and one of the only times I heard Him so clearly, and He spoke to me saying, "I've healed you from your anxiety right now, and it's not going to come back." And right after that happened the preacher said "If anyone got healed, I want you to come up onto the stage and tell everyone" and instantly I went up onto the stage and told about 900 people that Jesus had healed my anxiety! And ever since that day, my anxiety hasn’t come back, and I know it’s not going to. And He can do the same for you, no matter what you’re going through or struggling with, Jesus has authority over it and can heal you!
Now here’s the thing: Me and you have sinned and broken every single one of the 10 commandments. We are not good people. And if you are not born again, you are on your way to facing the wrath of God and eternal torment! And I used to be in that place too! If you are not for Jesus, you are against Him which makes you an enemy to God. And there is nothing that you can do to earn forgiveness. Does that concern you? Well here’s the good news: God loved you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to the earth, and Jesus lived a perfect life, He never sinned once, and then He died on the cross for you. He sacrificed His life for you, offering you the gift of salvation. And the Bible says in Romans 10:9 that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved." So you have to believe that He died on the cross and rose again to save you from your sins and place your faith in the finished work of the cross. Now we are not saved by works, but you should begin to read the Bible daily and pray frequently. I remember the first time I heard this song. I was in the hospital going through physical and speech therapy and my dad brought me a radio and this song was on alot! I was in a coma and on life support for two weeks with a traumatic brain injury and my brain was bleeding so bad that it caused me to have a stroke and the doctors said I was gone and told my dad to take me off of life support and I thank God that he didn't and I wasn't supposed to walk or talk ever again but I survived and I'm walking and talking! Thank you Jesus!

I was baptized on November 1, 2015. I did it randomly out of nowhere after only going to church for about 2 months, I wasn't confident but I did it because I knew I was lost, I'm not telling you this story to push you but I had a feeling to tell you my story. I didn't grow up in church, I told people I was christian but I didn't know who God truly is. I was involved in a rough crowd , people I still won't turn my back on, but now I lead by a good example rather than the drug and hate filled example I did lead by. I am now a member of church of the highlands and I'll tell you this, I wasn't ready, I didnt know what I was doing. a friend dragged me to church every Sunday but I wasn't ready to commit, I wasn't ready until one Sunday I raised my hand to be saved, because on that Sunday I knew that I had been putting God to the back burner saying I wasn't ready and I had to much going on and that I was going through some things, but in my short time of being saved I have and am continuing to learn that no matter what I'm going through if I sit and worship for at least 5 minutes, read my bible for at least 5 minutes, and pray for at least 5 minutes God will work wonders because I've given it all to him in those 15 minutes daily. I feel like a lot of times we get discouraged when we don't see instant results. God is a patient God, he's waited for us to come to him for who knows how long, now we just need to be patient and see his results, and we must learn that Gods answer is sometimes no but we need to accept that because God doesn't make mistakes. Remember God Loves you no matter what you feel like you've done. Jesus washed away your sins with his blood you've already been forgiven, you just have to confess your sins and repent. God loves you no matter what, keep your head up and don't be discouraged.

It's a real shame to me that non-Christians rarely acknowledge the quality of today's Christian rock and pop music. I think it is some of the highest quality music out there, with the best singers, musicians and songwriting of any rock or pop groups. They are one of the best examples. :)

I totally feel the same way. The important thing is that they are glorifying God and that's all that counts. God acknowledges their heart and talent. It's probably not that they don't acknowledge it it's more they refuse to acknowledge it because they are not in the faith. It's a huge sacrifice for these musicians because they could make double or triple the money if they were pop stars like taylor swift, etc. yet they have the talent. Christians are thinking eternal and thats all that matters. I feel the same way about the guitar players and other musicians in these christian bands. They are very talented.

I got a story.
This song really hits me because I'm a very passionate for the Lord but two and a half years ago I formed an addiction. I was a lonely guy so I needed something for comfort. I did have real friends at this point. This song gets me because every youth rally and youth event i go to God is speaking to me. Don't fall into that temptation. Put down that phone. If that addiction is right in front of you put it away. I have fallen on my knees and I thought there was no hope. Until God put a friend in my life that let me speak to them about it. This friend told me the same thing God had been doing the whole time. Using people to talk for him. I told a youth leader that night. I have fallen on my knees but now I'm ready to touch the sky on the wings of forever with God and take these chains of off me. Lord take me here and use me.
Yes, there is always hope in Him! He was tempted in everything, He understands and intercede and overcomes in us.
