And it's a good thing

A 100%
it's called the lana-effect.
Yes!!
here’s the deal…yes
This song deserves more attention honestly
This song is just so beautiful
The greatest masterpiece my ears have ever been able to hear!
she hasn't put out something this dark, this, heavy, this RAW, since Honeymoon it feels like. Some tones she uses we haven't heard since Born to Die. Its a masterpiece!
@@MrsGiovanellaAlinethen she released A&W just to show she's the G.O.A.T.

Its made half ass.. How is that hard work. Look at this cover, its shit :p
people will only realize decades later that she was and is the greatest singer-songwriter of this era.
It's us that knows this truth. Shes close to my age. I'll love her till I die
I think Alex Turner is a better songwriter, but she's great too!
@@edena240 he is great i love lot of his songs , but its lana we ara talking about her and only her under her new song video!! H e didnt come with something new he didnt change the sadcre songs from being ignored by labeks to being mainstreams! Only her and the weeknd changed lot of things when it comes to sadcore slow songs and the r and b songs ! Alex is a good singer singer songwriter and producer but he is only great not impactful
@@wissallm3743 I respect your opinion and I wish they'd do a song together
@@edena240 Alex Turner is great, definitely. Also among the best of this era. But Lana reminds me of Bob Dylan..very influential and pure talent
i genuinely fear that people aren’t going to understand her genius until after she dies. she’s such a phenomenal artist i hope she gets the credit she deserves while she’s still making music.
Don't talk like that. She is eternal lol
Art3mis . Let me allay your fears. You rightly say she's a phenomenal artist. Wonderful . Lana Del Rey has a massive following around the globe. Her ascendancy been well known & documented. Many say she's a " Phenomenon " of her own !!

"My father never steped in when his wife would rage at me " Now we know why we never see her mother
There's a few photos of them together. I think they do talk/have a relationship but obviously according to these lyrics it's strained.
@@KaiInMotion I dont think so, she considers another lady her mother but they are not related at all, she's just a Lana's neighbor, the true Lana's mother they have not been seen together for years already
and also shes wrote recently in her poetry book a poetry mentioning that she does not have a mother, so I dont think they speak at all
They don’t speak to each other. Lana doesn’t even consider Patty her mother, and she made that clear on an instagram post she made 2 years ago on mother’s day. That’s why she’s reffering to Patricia as her father’s wife on this song.
Eu gostei deste refrão desta música
“I’ve been running on stardust alone for so long” hits different when you’re looking at the stars and felling lost in this world.

That lyric hurts my heart so much
This song hits sooo hard when you’ve had a mother that TRULY rages against you. Fight every day to not let myself burn and carry the rage on from her.
This little wildflower just hurts, hurts, hurts...folded in on itself...this song hits a little too hard for me..but with Lana here and Johnny Depp’s testimony perhaps now will be the turning point, and the healing will have started for the children of raging mothers and silent fathers.
True
I was waiting for this comment
Okay but let's talk about how she goes from soft to loud and angelic in a split second like it's nothing 🥲. I love her so much wtf
This is so raw, never thought Lana would speak about her relationship with her mother. Really powerful. The covers definitely match the free form vibe of these three singles
I Liked That philosophical point of view about an artistic thing like this song
Sure that it is about her mother?
It could be about a woman her dad married, or a way to distance herself from her mom through calling her hs father's wife not her mother directly
@@sistermorphine7874 no it's about her mother, they don't have a good relationship
@@milicad1770 I remember in 2020 she posted a million thank yous to her.. But idk I could be wrong

I think the same. I like many of the songs in Blue Banisters, but this one is... I don't even have words. It gives me the chills, it moves me deeply. Just like Cinnamon Girl on NFR, I think it's an outstanding, stand-alone song in the album.

She doesn’t have to wait lmao
At the beginning it sounds so much like born to die era, and the chorus is ultraviolence-ish. And then the organ at the end is what you would usually hear from tracks in honeymoon. Wow!
The chorus burns too hot for me, because Lana spoils us with excellence!
Yeah I think the chorus also sounds BTDish, and I think the verses are a whole new era, kinda reminds me of some of her unreleased stuff.
@@shevontea please ignore my comment i was high af while writing this 🥴
Idk this song is sooo The Doors inspired imo especially the last part, like Wild Love, Indian Summer and such
The pre chorus gives me BTD era vibes
Still hard to understand how some people can say her new songs are "boring" just because they aren't that upbeat, but they're raw and personal, she made them to express herself, not to please others. But I guess its just the matter of preference.

I love COCC but I like these 3 tracks a hell of a lot more already
it hits hard when you still find lyrics parallel to your life even after 8 years of listening to Lana.
I think this song is about her taking the role of a mother. She’s telling her child about how she feels much better with him and how she’ll learn form motherhood in order to keep him safe.
you might be right, since the kind of love she's promising (the end of the 1st verse) sounds so motherly
i think the song is about her in a relationship. and everything will be good in said relationship untill all of a sudden she is triggered by something and she starts acting out and wants to burn everything down like a wildfire. and her boyfriend is confused and is asking her what's wrong. because he doesn't understand the trauma of her past. so she eventually caves in and says because i know you wanna talk bout it.. because she really doesn't want to talk about it- as most people with trauma don't. but goes on to explain the pain her parents caused her and the alcohol and medication led to her music. but she promises she will be a wildflower and grow and bloom with him and because of him and she is learning how to be a better person because he is patient with her.
