Ha! Thank you! Yeah I've been doing this for 6 years and only have 1900 subs to show for it. So obviously I'm not doing this for the mad money rolling in lol. I'll keep grinding out videos till I'm either sick of it or you all are sick of me.
So overall how are you liking the game? I thought 4.1 to 5 was a pretty big jump in quality, would you say it's comparable to that? I mean, it certainly looks great, I can't wait to get my hands on it since I got a ps5 for it.
It's my favorite by far. The improvements imo are leaps over 5. The automatic vaulting makes movement so smooth that combat is effortless. No more getting hung up as often. Sub weapons make the classes feel more powerful and fleshed out. Plus the new enemies and levels are so fun with the exception of the clam enemies. I hate those little guys.
@@EDFCentral From the folks I've spoken to basically everyone hates the clams. Impenetrable unless met with overwhelming force or patiently waiting for their mouths to open. And yeah.. with each successive EDF game you really wonder how you were able to play the previous games without the quality of life updated! The backpack equipment is a must now.
@@Laternater Yes its hard for me to go back now to other mainline entries in the series. I'm much more likely to go back to World Brothers, Insect Armageddon and Iron Rain just because they were different. However when playing the mainline games 4.1, and 5 will be tough when you can't vault, use sub weapons, heal others when your health is in the red.
Sweet, I'll have to see if I have the CA90 bombs and give it a try. Quick question though, when you detonate the CA bombs do they instantly kill the gold ants or just wake them out of their shells? I just fear being overwhelmed by ants if it doesn't kill them outright.
@@EDFCentral some of them can kills it but not all. If not killed, use mtx (sometimes risky but its good, if dont want to be one shooted by yourself, go to m51 use magma and probe type 5 to farm armor.)
I'm personally not sure how much damage it does compared to 5 as I don't have either one maxed out damage wise I don't think. I can tell you this though, it still shreds enemies in mere seconds on inferno.
At least there are now a total of 5 different base game Blazers, 3 ARs, and 2 shotguns, not counting DLC 2 (which I still wish western PSN versions could play even just DLC 1!!!) add 2 more, one for each variant, meaning likely the blazer we remember as DLC in 5 is gonna be the same or slightly under par, as you should rely on all your utility as ranger now.
I played very slowly and used a machine gun and whatever turret I had. I took on one gold ant at a time. It's very dangerous with mid level weapons but can be done. Take your most powerful and quick reloading machine gun you have.
@@Mr.Salad_ You get it from Inferno. Off the too of my head I believe I got it from this level. You can beat this mission with other weapons, magma cannon just makes it faster.
@EDFCentral okay thank you, I haven't beat the game yet but I just wanted to ask, do you know if the dlc is out for the American release? I can't find anything online about it. I appreciate you making edf content it's all too sparse!
Off the top of my head I don't remember the name. However it is the mission that opens up after mission 40 once you beat the game. Extra missions open up once the game is completed. This one will show up as three question marks directly after mission 40. This is why I call it mission 40+

I'm really trying to love edf 6, but trawling through the early missions with the starter gear is just so painful.
Try to find a mission that you can do on Hard and snag some better gear. Thats what I did and it made a world of difference.
