They are built in china in a factory ford doesn’t even own. They share the same platform as a ford escape(does not have a great record). Worse yet they use the 2L ecoboost which has never been a good power plant. It has had terrible problems like cylinder sleeve failures head gasket failures, a weird condition where it goes into limp mode because it thinks it’s overheating when it’s not. What’s really fun about the last one is that ford put out a TSB acknowledging the issue but also stating that they don’t know why it’s happening and aren’t going to try to figure it out. The engine has been redesigned since then but seeing how that engine and its 3 cylinder cousin have performed in the escape it doesn’t sound like it was for the better. What makes it really a shame is that it’s a great looking vehicle with a great interior. I’m not a fan of the giant screen but that’s just me. Too bad beauty is only skin deep.

I’ve been driving Lincoln Nauts newest models for the last 4 years.. since I was 25, plus I look younger then my age people think I’m like 22-23 I’m damn near 30… And let me tell you, the looks older folks specifically, but some people in general give me on red lights/stops/etc when they see me they look like they seeing big foot.. I can feel them dragging me out the car from the way they see me lol

Lincoln is so underrated! I love the luxury put off on these vehicles. Don’t ever judge a Lincoln without driving it first. I had my first Lincoln - it was a town car and I loved that ride. The leather was so soft but the ride and the smoothness and torque was insane. Only complaint was downshift of the transmission and the rear airbag suspension.
I’m a Lincoln driver but it broke my heart when they went to this all SUV lineup. I couldn’t imagine what they’d be doing with the MKS or the Continental right now with all this technology 🥺
The messed up thing is they kept the sedan in China. They renamed the MKZ to Zephyr and it was the first model with the new facelift and this wrap around screen. This Nautilus is Chinese made too, btw. They could bring it over to the US just like the Nautilus if Lincoln/Ford wanted.
