This is so helpful. I’m autistic and grew up with an autistic mom so she never saw value in caring for her hair other than washing and air drying. I however, loooove makeup but never really got into hair either and I find a lot of my looks need hair with intention. This is a such a helpful guide for when I’m feeling lost. Our hair is about the same cut, color, and length so it’s especially easy to watch this and throw something up. Thank you 😊

Never, or just in this video? This has frustrated me for a long time; TH-cam really ups the contrast (a lot) when I upload a video. It looks perfectly fine after I render it, but once I upload the contrast goes up and washes out either the highlights or the lowlights, or both. I find it really hard to predict how strongly it'll warp so I really struggle with anticipating it in my editing :( I do find it's often worse when you watch on mobile, too...

I have been watching you for years and I remember I stopped trying to do the hairstyles years ago beside I couldn't see what was happening even though it was right in front of my face. Well, my frontal lobe is fully developed now and I had the brilliant idea that maybe I should mention it lol. I'm usually just a lurker who doesn't comment. The low bun is my favorite style for summer. I secure mine with either a hair elastic or an octopus clip. I usually have a clip attached to my bag so I can clip my hair up when I'm out of the house. I love the other styles too, and I'll definitely try some of them!

Have you tried professional bobby pins? Their hold is much stronger than those from the drug store.
