@Ezequiel Gouveia The reason Mi9 does so well is because it kills apps in memory even if you don't want it to. Very frustrating and nothing you can do to change that annoying behaviour of miui.

If he was playing YT etc the battery would have been closer to almost 3hours more. Look closely. Frankie does a great job with the test but doesn't have the patience at the end which messes up the TRUE results.

sadly they can't do it due to 0.9mm difference with iqoo. My current Mi Note 3 is just as thin (7.6mm) but it has no wireless charging support so the space is enough for another 200mAh.

I also thing screen technology definitely affected the Redmi Note 7, as all the other phones use AMOLED and didn’t seem to suffer the drop offs the Note 7 did. Have a good one bro!

What are going to say now only 17 min difference less than the mi9. 🤔. The mi9 is a great phone no doubt, but Dude the winner is the IQOO, regardless. So it is a beast of a phone. P. S. Let's not forget that the IQOO has a head phone jack too.

The test did not simulate real world usage. In real world u will drain battery faster using mobile data, screen brightness will vary from time to time, phone call, gps, speaker touch input also drain battery

Did the spotify play on the speaker(s)? How did you decide the volume? Did you set static 1080p resolution on youtube? Did you set the same graphics settings in PUBG? All these things don't matter much, although I would love to know you're very precise next time ;)
Wow some seriously detailed questions! Volume was kept pretty low on all phone (25-30%) simply because I didn’t want or need the same music blasting in my room so late at night! Resolution on TH-cam was set to auto, and PUBG was played on recommend settings for each phone as it would not be fair to push Redmi Note 7 to Ultra settings while Mi 9 and Vivo processor can easily handle it.
İ'm actually impressed with battery life of mi9. Shows how great optimization miui has. It actually hang up with iqoo even though it had smaller battery.
There's something wrong with your Note 7 since I can tell you from first hand experience the Note 7 has without a doubt better battery longevity than the Mi 9 (my new daily driver)

İ'm actually impressed with battery life of mi9. Shows how great optimization miui has. It actually hang up with iqoo even though it had smaller battery.

It should be mostly because the screen technology, the iqoo has amoled and the mi9 super amoled which is supposed to be more efficient....

There's something wrong with your Note 7 since I can tell you from first hand experience the Note 7 has without a doubt better battery longevity than the Mi 9 (my new daily driver)

Damn 8 hours SOT on note7 means 4-6 days batterytime ;O
not even close. That means more than 10%/hr drain. Then add 1%/hr in standby. so it will last 48h with 5h SOT. Not impressive.

Frankie Tech Yes, Because it has used the amoled screen, except Reno 7, and The SD712 is a great deal with 10 nm, Reno 7 still using SD660 (14nm). I think Reno 7 PRO has a better battery life using the SD675 (11nm), maybe 5-8% more life.
